The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Elite has announced its November Stars of the Month, recognizing standout performances from the month. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.
Atlantic
Forward: Camden Adams – Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights: WBS forward Camden Adams appeared in 10 games in November, where he accumulated 18 points. The 08’ Vestal, NY native netted 12 goals and dished out 6 helpers over the month, and had four three-point games.
Defenseman: Jacob Lefebvre – Hershey Cubs: Cubs defender Jacob Lefebvre played in 11 games over the month of November where he totalled 7 points. Lafebvre added 1 goal and 6 assists.
Goalie: Andrew Coston – Elmira Impact: Andrew Coston put together a strong November, going 6–2 with a .915 save percentage and a 2.64 GAA over eight starts. He turned aside 227 of 248 shots and closed the month with a 25-save shutout on Nov. 30. Coston delivered several high-impact performances, including 32 saves on Nov. 14 and 31 saves on Nov. 9, and posted four games above a .900 SV%.
Florida
Forward: Lucas Bruce – Florida Jr. Blades: Jr. Blades forward Lucas Bruce totalled 6 points in just 3 games played during November. Bruce’s month was highlighted by a 4 point game with 2 goals and 2 assists, and he found the back of the net in his other two showings. Bruce has played in 10 games this season for the Elite Jr. Blades and has totalled 14 points.
Defenseman: Kaleb Freyman – Florida Eels: Eels defenseman Kaleb Freyman played in 5 games during the month and totaled 3 points. Freyman, a Bourbonnais, IL native, highlighted the month with a 2 assist game in the Eels 4-1 win over the Typhoon. Kaleb has played in 20 games this season and has 9 assists.
Goalie: Brody Patton – Florida Jr. Blades: Brody Patton turned in an outstanding month for the Elite squad, going 2-0 with an outstanding 1.00 GAA and .964 save percentage. He delivered a 28-save shutout on Nov. 1 and followed it up with another strong outing on Nov. 9, stopping 26 of 28 shots in an 11-2 win.
Midwest
Forward: Graysen LaPrise – Metro Jets Elite: Metro Jets Elite forward Graysen LaPrise put up 9 points in 13 games across the month of November. LaPrise added two multi-point games, had 3 goals and 6 assists. LaPrise has played in 16 games this year and has totalled 12 points.
Defenseman: Alex Yakimenka – Chicago Crush: Crush defender Alex Yakimenka picked up 4 points over 12 games in November. The blue-liner netted 2 goals and 2 assists.
Goalie: Hayden Rabe – Chicago Crush: Hayden Rabe put together a strong November, going 4-0 with a .946 save percentage and 1.57 GAA across his recorded appearances. He posted back-to-back shutout efforts in limited action on Nov. 23 and Nov. 30, and delivered a clutch 28-save performance in a 3-2 win over the Spacemen.
New England
Forward: Tucker Watkins – South Shore Kings: South Shore forward Tucker Watkins totalled 9 points over 7 games. Watkins added 6 goals, including a hat-trick, and added in 3 assists. Watkins has played in 21 games this season and has totalled 23 points.
Defenseman: Sebastian Jaso – Springfield Jr. Pics: Pics defenseman Sebastian Jaso played in 7 games in November where he tallied 5 points. The Slovakian defender posted 1 goal and 4 assists, highlighted by a 3 points game in November. This season Jaso has played in 22 games and has tallied 8 points.
Goalie: Joey Fisher – South Shore Kings: Joey Fisher delivered a solid 2-1 performance while carrying a .898 save percentage and 2.86 GAA over 130 minutes of action in November. After a tough opening outing on Nov. 4, he bounced back with a strong 33-save effort in a 5–3 road win on Nov. 12. He followed that up with another victory on Nov. 22, stopping 15 of 17 to help secure a 4–2 result.
Southeast:
Forward: Taryk Filipuzzi – Hampton Roads Whalers: Hampton Roads Whalers forward Taryk Filipuzzi had a great November totalling 11 points over 8 games. Filipuzzi had 4 multi-point games, including a 3 point game with 2 goals and 1 assist. Filipuzzi scored 5 goals and added 6 assists. Over 19 games played this season, Filipuzzi has scored 10 goals and 9 assists.
Defenseman: Brandon Tough – Hampton Roads Whalers: Whalers defenseman Brandon Tough played in 7 games over the month of November and tallied 4 points. Tough added 3 goals and 1 assist during the month.
Goalie: Bryden Egy – Hampton Roads Whalers: Hampton netminder Bryden Egy was lights out in November posting a perfect going 2–0 with an outstanding .974 save percentage and a 0.52 GAA. He opened the month with a strong 17-save performance in a 7–1 win on Nov. 15, then followed that up with a flawless 20-save shutout on Nov. 23.
