The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Elite has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the league during the week of January 12-18, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.
Atlantic Division
Forward: Francis Gauvin – Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights: Gauvin powered the Knights’ offense with a four-goal, five-point week, including a game-winner, driving play every time he touched the puck.
Defenseman: Dominic Spencer – Elmira Impact: Spencer posted four assists over two games, quarterbacking transition play and providing steady two-way minutes.
Goaltender: Noah Vidal – Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights: Vidal was perfect in the crease, stopping 27 of 28 shots for a .964 save percentage and a 1.00 GAA across his appearance.
Florida Division
Forward: Jackson Carnes – Florida Eels: Carnes put up a strong two-game showing with two goals and three points, including a clutch game-winner.
Defenseman: Kaleb Freyman – Florida Eels: Freyman delivered a big week from the blue line with two goals in two games, contributing offense while staying reliable defensively.
Goaltender: Stuart Heckathorne – Florida Eels: Heckathorne was sharp across two outings, turning aside 53 of 56 shots for a .946 save percentage and a 2.25 GAA.
Midwest Division
Forward: Matthew Schackart – Fort Wayne Spacemen: Schackart picked up three assists in his lone appearance of the week, helping drive Fort Wayne’s offensive push.
Defenseman: Nathan Wolf – Fort Wayne Spacemen: Spacemen defenseman Nathan Wolf posted a goal in Fort Wayne’s 7-4 win on Saturday.
Goaltender: Austin Schaertel – Fort Wayne Spacemen: Schaertel earned a win while stopping 30 of 34 shots, finishing with an .882 save percentage in his start.
New England Division
Forward: Kail Burns – Northern Cyclones: Burns led the way with a seven-point week (2G, 5A), consistently sparking transition chances and driving Cyclones offense.
Defenseman: Adriano Lisio – Montreal Knights: Lisio contributed one goal and four assists for five points in two games, pacing Montreal’s blue-line production.
Goaltender: Daniel Muratov – Montreal Knights: Muratov was outstanding in net, stopping 39 of 41 shots across two starts for a .951 save percentage and a 0.97 GAA, along with a shutout.
Southeast Division
Forward: Nicholas Simpkins – Potomac Patriots: Simpkins delivered a four-goal, five-point performance over two games, including two power-play tallies.
Defenseman: Griffin Tremlett – Carolina Jr. Hurricanes: Tremlett chipped in a goal and two assists from the blue line, providing steady all-situations play for Carolina.
Goaltender: Tommy Prate Jr. – Potomac Patriots: Prate was exceptional in his lone start, stopping 38 of 39 shots for a .974 save percentage and a 1.00 GAA.
