The Springfield Pics are joining the NCDC for the first time as a pivotal new member of the New England Division and they are ready to rise to the challenge.
The Pics already field a premier team, but are excited to expand into the NCDC this year with head coach/GM Rob Bonneau running the show.
“The strengths of this team will be its work ethic and team unity,” said Bonneau. “We will work hard, keep it simple and try to be a hard team to play against.”
Bonneau knows that being a new team comes with many challenges, and he understands it will take time for the group to come together and find success.
“Since this will be our first season in the NCDC, our lack of experience is a concern,” said Bonneau. “As we get games under our belt, we will understand what we need to do to be successful.”
The Pics are thrilled to be joining the NCDC. They are ready to bring a strong, physical style of play and are excited for a fun and competitive season ahead.
“We are going to be a strong skating team and try to be physical without getting penalties,” said Bonneau.
The Springfield Pics are excited to be a part of the NCDC level since the championship trophy, the Dineen Cup, honors the programs founder, Gary Dineen.
