The United States Premier Hockey League’s Back For More series highlights returning players who are continuing their development and building on the progress they made during the previous season. Whether they’re stepping into bigger roles, chasing new opportunities or taking another step toward college hockey, these players are back for more in 2026-27.

One of those players is Hanna Havoc forward Austin Galway, who returns for his second season with the organization after an impressive rookie campaign. Galway finished the 2025-26 season with 12 goals and 28 assists for 40 points in 23 regular-season games, then added two goals and nine assists for 11 points in four playoff contests as he continued to establish himself as one of the Havoc’s top offensive players.

Now entering his second season, Galway is expected to be an integral part of Hanna’s success. Head Coach Kevin Henry believes the talented forward will lead both on and off the ice while continuing to elevate his game.

“Austin is a player I want to build around,” said Henry. “His leadership, grit, skating, athleticism and offensive instincts are what set him apart. Austin is a shining example of what Havoc hockey represents. His willingness to help the team in any way to win sets the standard to follow.”

Henry believes Galway’s journey reflects the value of the USPHL Premier development pathway. After sometimes being overlooked earlier in his hockey career, Galway found an opportunity to grow his confidence and earn a larger role. Through hard work and commitment, he continues to trend upward and has positioned himself as a player capable of playing college hockey.

“Austin is a player who sort of fell through the cracks at times over his hockey career,” Henry said. “The USPHL was a perfect fit for him to grow his confidence within the game. We are honored to help mold Austin and assist him in his hockey journey.”

With another year of experience behind him, Galway returns to the Havoc looking to continue his development while helping lead the organization during the 2026-27 season.
