Jersey Hitmen Classic: Day 4 Recap

The 2025 NCDC Jersey Hitmen Classic wrapped up on Sunday evening. The event was held at the Ice Vault in Wayne, NJ where Sunday saw three games to finish the event. 

Boston Jr. Rangers 13 vs. Presque Isle Frontiers 5: The Boston Jr. Rangers defeated the Presque Isle Frontiers by a wide margin on Sunday afternoon by a final of 13-5. The first period saw four Jr. Rangers goals with Christopher Otero, Maclain Henning, Owen Robitaille and Jackson Rendall. The second period picked up with Rhyle Shevilin scoring two goals for a 6-0 Jr. Rangers lead. Presque Isle got on the scoresheet in the period with Vladimir Zakharov scoring at 11:34 for a 6-1 score. Rhyle Shevlin scored again for the hat-trick, followed by Sam Luan to make the game a 8-1 score. In the third period the Boston offense kept on the attack with Owen Robitaille, Rhyle Shevlin netting his fourth of the game, Jack O’Connorscore, and Charles Dey. As the period continued, Presque Isle scored with Gregory Monthie, Madden Hogenauer, and Adam Zaremba. Boston goalie Silas Stanek-Streed stopped 23 shots in the 13-5 win. 

Universel Academy 2 vs. Rockets Hockey Club 3: The Rockets Hockey Club edged Universel Academy in a 3-2 final. The action picked up in the second period where the Rockets scored three unanswered goals with Hayden Pouliiot, Tristan Venne, and Maksym Pastukh. In the third, Universel scored twice with Anthony Roy and Olivier Touchette as the Rockets held on for the 3-2 win. Rockets netminder Jakub Sirhal stopped 19 shots in the victory. 

Utica Jr. Comets 3 vs. West Chester Wolves 4:THe West Chester Wolves snuck past the Utica Jr. Comets in a 4-3 final. The Wolves got out ahead in the first period with a goal from Grant Lucas. The Jr. Comets answered back and took the lead 2-1 with goals from Joshua Galizia and Josh Gregoire. In the second, Philip Gamper evened the game 2-2 with a West Chester goal. Utica took the lead back later in the period with a goal from Dominique Allard, 3-2. In the third, West Chesters’Dallas Glenn added two goals that included the game winner for a 4-3 final score.
