Jersey Hitmen 11, Connecticut Junior Rangers 2
The Hitmen put together an explosive offensive performance, scoring 11 times behind a deep, balanced attack. Ryan Shea led the way with two goals, while Marcus Hookong, Derek Tremblay, Darren Iversen, Jan Kuisis, Hayden Campbell, Jordan Laroda, Riley Lephart, Tristan Caldwell, and Jack Wheaton also found the back of the net. Connecticut’s scoring came from Jordan Bowman and Max Markhede.
Rock Springs Miners 7, Casper Warbirds 1
Rock Springs broke the game open in the third period, scoring five times to pull away. Austin Westergaard paced the Miners with two goals, while Anderson Sandquist, Cody Columbus, Lawson Hewitt, Charlie Grant, and Boston Cormic added goals. Bradley Boniface scored the lone goal for Casper.
Ogden Mustangs 2, Grand Junction River Hawks 1
The Mustangs earned a tight road win with goals from Hudson Weber-Stewart and Liam Sheward. Kasper Pohjala scored the lone goal for Grand Junction as both teams battled through a close-checking contest.
Idaho Falls Spud Kings 6, Pueblo Bulls 3
Idaho Falls used steady scoring in every period to secure the win. Caleb Lepitre scored twice, with additional goals from Brayden Olsen, Sam Grimaldi, Tyler Atchison, and Owen Beyer. Pueblo goals came from Brody Clarke, Benjamin O’Leary, and Adam Brown.
