NCDC November Stars of the Month

The National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) has announced its November Stars of the Month, recognizing standout performances from the month. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Jordan Laroda – Jersey Hitmen: Jordan Laroda had a strong month of November, combining for 11 points. The Hitmen forward had 4 mutli-point games, highlighted by a 3 points game (1 goal, 2 assists). Over the month, Laroda posted 5 goals and 6 assists. So far this season, Jordan has played in 23 games and has tallied 28 points (16 goals, 12 assists). 

Honorable Mention: Tristan Venne – Rockets Hockey Club

 

Defenseman: Matiss Osans – Rockets Hockey Club: Rockets Hockey Club defender Matiss Osans appeared in 9 games in November where he contributed with 7 points. The Latvia native recorded 1 goal and added 6 helpers. Osans has appeared in 23 games this season where he has 2 goals and 16 assists. 

 

Goaltender: Jimmy Mologousis – Wilkes/Barre Scranton Knights: Jimmy Mologousis delivered one of his strongest stretches of the season, backstopping Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to a 3-1 record across four starts and posting elite numbers in the process. Mologousis stopped 135 of 142 shots for a stellar .951 save percentage and a 1.72 goals-against average, highlighted by a 45-save win on Nov. 23 and a .974 performance on Nov. 17. He also secured a shootout victory on Nov. 8, shutting the door late when his team needed him most.

Honorable Mention: Alessandro Capano – Rockets Hockey Club

 

Rookie: John Gazzola – Jersey Hitmen: Rookie netminder John Gazzola delivered an impressive month for the Rockets, finishing 2-2 while showcasing poise well beyond his first-year status. He ended November with standout wins, highlighted by a 34-save shutout on Nov. 25 and a 21-save performance in a victory on Nov. 6. Even in defeat, Gazzola remained a backbone, posting a .939 save percentage in a tight 2–3 shootout loss on Nov. 19. Across his four starts, the rookie stopped 121 of 128 shots, finishing the month with a stellar .945 save percentage and establishing himself as a reliable presence in the crease.

Honorable Mention: Tomas Pribyl – West Chester Wolves

 

Mountain Division

Forward: Kasper Pohjala – Grand Junction River Hawks: Kasper Pohjala put together a standout month for the River Hawks, piling up 17 points in 9 games during November. The forward was electric across the month adding 7 goals and 10 assists, highlighted by a 4 point game (1 goal, 3 assists) and having 6 multi-point showings. Pohjala has played in 23 games this season and has totalled 36 points. 

Honorable Mention: Logan Lambrecht – Ogden Mustangs

 

Defenseman: Beck Picconatto – Ogden Mustangs: Ogden defenseman Beck Picconatto was a steady, two-way force throughout November, posting 9 points in 9 games for his squad. He delivered consistently across the month, highlighted by a pair of multi-assist games and a strong outing with a goal and an assist in a 5-1 win. Picconatto has played in 20 games this season and has totalled 15 points. 

Honorable Mention: Marcus Jackson – Pueblo Bulls

 

Goaltender: Hayden Demaso – Pueblo Bulls: Bulls netminder Hayden Demaso had a great November, posting a .927 SV%, 2.40 GAA, and 160 saves across five starts. He delivered two stellar wins with .973 and .972 performances and kept Pueblo competitive in every game despite a heavy 300 minutes of action. He finished the month going 2-3, that included two close shootout losses. 

Honorable Mention: Merik Grinaker – Ogden Mustangs

 

Rookie: Hudson Weber-Stewart – Ogden Mustangs: Ogden rookie forward Hudson Weber-Stewart delivered a strong month, finishing November with 8 points across seven games. Weber-Stewart netted 6 goals and added 2 assists in November. He scored in six different contests, including a two-goal performance on Nov. 22 and key tallies in back-to-back wins to close the month. 

Honorable Mention: Blake Schultz – Pueblo Bulls

 

New England Division

Forward: Declan Stewart – Utica Jr. Comets: Utica Jr. Comets forward Declan Stewart made a tremendous impact up front for his squad as he combined for 9 points in 7 games. The Redondo Beach, CA native added three goals and dished out 6 assists. This season, Declan has played in 22 games and has tallied 25 points. 

Honorable Mention: Filip Svoboda – Northern Cyclones

 

Defenseman: Kevin Delaney – Lewiston MAINEiacs: Lewiston blue-liner Kevin Delaney tallied 11 points across 9 games in November. Delaney’s performance was highlighted by a 4 point game where he added a goal and three assists. Kevin is in his first NCDC season and has played in 19 games, totalling 20 points. 

Honorable Mention: Carson Zick – Utica Jr. Comets

 

Goaltender: Jack Foy – Utica Jr. Comets: Jack Foy put together a perfect 4–0 month of November for the Comets, turning aside 104 of 113 shots and posting a stellar save percentage above .920. His run included a 34-save shutout, a 25 shot save win, a strong outing of 19 saves and ending the month with 26 saves. Foy’s consistency and poise between the pipes made him one of the NCDC’s standout goalies throughout November.

Honorable Mention: Patrick Muller – South Shore Kings

 

Rookie: Simon Fournier – Boston Dogs: Boston Dogs rookie defenseman Simon Fournier added 7 points over 9 games. The Quebec native scored a goal and handed out 6 assists. This season, Fournier has played in 10 games for the Dogs where he has totalled 7 points. 

Honorable Mention: Eli Heinze – South Shore Kings
