South Shore Showcase

Jersey Hitmen 7, Thunder Hockey Club 0
The Jersey Hitmen erupted for seven goals, including three in the third period, to blank Thunder Hockey Club. David Landoa scored twice, while Jack Wheaton, Emrick Bagnon, Marty Magaletta, Jordan Landoa and David Ambuhl also found the back of the net. The Hitmen went 4-for-5 on the power play in a dominant offensive showing.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 5, Boston Dogs 1
The Knights built a 3-0 first-period lead and never looked back. Jackson Chicola and Caleb Rashleigh scored early, and Artem Zharikov and Rocco Luciano added to the cushion. Connor Lawrence capped the scoring for WBS, while Luca Mestrandrea had the lone goal for Boston.

Worcester Railers JHC 5, Universel Quebec 0
Worcester controlled play from start to finish, scoring once in the first, three times in the second and adding another in the third. Zachary Warner-Senee scored twice, while Noah Jimbo, Josh Erickson and Ben Lees each added goals in the shutout win.

Universel Academy 5, St. Stephen County Moose 1
After a scoreless first period, Universel Academy exploded for four second-period goals to take command. Philippe Guay scored twice in the middle frame, with Anthony Roy and Alessandro Crivellari also lighting the lamp. Trevor Ponath had the Moose’s lone goal.

South Shore Kings 6, P.A.L. Junior Islanders 1
The host Kings showcased their depth with a six-goal performance. Jake Owens scored twice, William Cavanagh, Corwin Simmers, Matt Lemay and Tanner Petalas also contributed, and South Shore pulled away with a three-goal second period.

Utica Jr. Comets 5, Mercer Chiefs 3
Utica used a three-goal third period to break open a tight game. Joshua Galizia scored twice, including in the opening minute of the third, while Cameron Golovin and Kevin Walton added key tallies. Mercer received goals from Justin Ouellet, Tyler Rothstein and Brent Beswick in the loss.

Boston Junior Bruins 8, Woodstock Slammers 2
The Junior Bruins erupted for three goals in both the first and second periods to take control early. Drew Carr, Charlie Szymczak, Jonathan Balzarini (two), Colin Ward, Colin McCarthy, Kiss-Molnar Gellert and Caiden Sullivan powered the offensive outburst in the decisive win.

Springfield Pics 4, Northern Maine Pioneers 1
Springfield jumped ahead early and never relinquished control. Jacob Carey, Oleg Bitius and Adam Palenik scored for the Pics, while Canon Gough had the lone marker for Northern Maine.

Boston Jr. Rangers 4, Rockets Hockey Club 3 (OT)
In the lone overtime contest of the showcase, Jacob Gelman netted the game-winner in extra time to lift the Jr. Rangers. Christof Tschurnig scored twice in regulation, while Owen Robitaille also tallied. The Rockets received goals from Jed Lake, Blake Baksay and Maksym Pastukh.

Northern Cyclones 4, West Chester Wolves 1
The Cyclones controlled the pace with a balanced scoring effort. Filip Svoboda, Tyler Brandebura, Riley Casey and Logan Petlansky each scored, while Ryan Kowalsky had the Wolves’ lone goal.

Connecticut Junior Rangers 9, CT Chiefs North 2
The Junior Rangers exploded offensively, scoring six times in the third period to break the game wide open. Egor Sapozhnikov had a hat trick, with Artis Skelels, Brycen Wood, Will O’Donovan and others contributing in the nine-goal performance.

New York Dynamo 5, New England Wolves 3
The Dynamo used a four-goal third period to surge past the Wolves. William McDonald scored twice, while Timothy Russell, Thomas Pisano and Chase Ullrich also tallied to secure the comeback victory.


Non-Showcase Games

Grand Junction RiverHawks 5, Casper Warbirds 2
Grand Junction built a 2-1 first-period lead and added three more goals over the final 40 minutes. Joey Ziska scored twice, while Isaiah Yates, Gavin Mears and Gabriel Iervella also contributed in the win.

Utah Outliers 4, Rock Springs Miners 0
The Outliers fired 55 shots and broke through with two goals in both the second and third periods. Jesse Ivanovic, Erick Bachtle, Tyler Kedzo and Zachary Palik supplied the scoring in the shutout victory.
