Boston Junior Bruins 4, Universel Academy 3 (SO)
Boston rallied behind goals from Mathew Bolduc and Carson Myhre before Kiss-Molnar Gellert tied it in the second, helping send the game to extra time where the Junior Bruins secured the shootout win. Tristan Frizado, Bauer Genest, and Milan Turena scored for Universel Academy.
Jersey Hitmen 4, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights 1
The Hitmen used a strong second period with goals from Reid Hyde and Darren Iversen to take control at Ice Vault. Derek Tremblay opened the scoring, and Dmitrij Haberling added a third-period goal to close it out. Kinnick Kehoe had the lone Knights marker.
Utica Jr. Comets 6, New York Dynamo 3
Four second-period goals propelled Utica as Andrew Davis, Tanner Wisniewski, Nicholas Kim, and Declan Stewart each found the net in the middle frame. Zach Groleau and Jordan Fanti rounded out the attack. Cole Kerr, Nicholas Ferrari, and Louis Sweenor scored for Dynamo.
Worcester Railers JHC 4, Springfield Pics 0
A steady three period attack and perfect netminding sent the Railers over the Pics, 4-0. Travis Rugg and Andy Mitchell scored in the opening period, while Zackary Warner-Senee scored in the second and Noah Jimbo in the third. Goaltender Charles Campbell was perfect stopping all 22 shots in the win.
Connecticut Junior Rangers 6, West Chester Wolves 5
Oliver Olsson and Ralfs Veidemanis scored 28 seconds apart to kick-start Connecticut, and Joey Terpstra, Victor Elias, and Ryan Bernard helped push the Rangers ahead late. Colin Daltwas and Brody Bess fueled a Wolves comeback push, but CJR held on.
Universel Quebec 3, St. Stephen County Moose 2 (OT)
Sebastien Charron tied the game late in regulation, and Peter Kovac won it in overtime as Universel Quebec battled back on the road. Charles Martel opened the scoring, while Noah Morency and Eric Whitelaw struck for the Moose.
Islanders Hockey Club 7, Woodstock NB Slammers 2
Islanders HC jumped ahead quickly behind goals from Ludovick Dussault, Gio Rhoads, and Gustaf Egmar. Cameron Fahey, Brendan Peck, Jake Freelove, and Liam Normann added insurance, while Brandon Meyers and Griffin Johnston answered for Woodstock.
South Shore Kings 4, Boston Dogs 3
South Shore scored three times in the second period with goals by Matt Lemay, Eli Heinze, and Brennan Cail to overcome a strong Boston start. Alec Babineau also scored for the Kings, while Tanner McFaul, Mio Kjoerstraed Oeqvist, and Hunter McCarthy scored for the Dogs.
Northern Cyclones 6, Northern Maine Pioneers 1
Ian Tuffin scored twice and Kevin Sorlin, Lukas Eich, Cooper Caby, and Riley Casey each struck once to lead the Cyclones on the road. Hudson Maro had the lone Pioneers goal.
CT Chiefs North 4, Thunder Hockey Club 1
Royce Butler tallied twice, once in the second and again in the third, to help lead CT Chiefs North past Thunder. Jovanni Smeriglio and Platon Semenov also scored, while Killian Wright put Thunder on the board early.
Ogden Mustangs 7, Casper Warbirds 1
Liam Sheward logged three points to lead Ogden’s attack, while Blake Couet, William Youngberg, Logan Lambrecht, Jiri Duda, and Joseph Cullison added goals to extend the lead throughout. William Rotar scored for Casper.
Pueblo Bulls 5, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 4 (SO)
Pueblo rallied in the second behind goals from Blake Schultz, Marcus Jackson, and Joshua Granowicz before Brody Clarke tied it late. Owen Beyer scored twice for Idaho Falls along with Bravery Esplin and Tyler Atchison, but Pueblo prevailed in the shootout.
