NCDC Stars of the Week | Jan. 26 – Feb. 1, 2026

The National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from January 26 – February 1, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

ATLANTIC DIVISION

Forward: Max Markhede – Connecticut Jr. Rangers: Over just two games played, Connecticut Jr. Rangers forward Max Markhede posted 6 points. Max netted two goals in a 5-2 win in the opening game of the weekend, then followed up adding 4 assists in a 5-3 win on Saturday.

Defenseman: Harrison Kinne – West Chester Wolves: West Chester defender Harrison Kinne has a great weekend, adding 4 assists over two games. Kinne added an assist on Friday, then added 3 on Saturday’s game.  

Goalie: Jimmy Mologousis – Wilkes/Barre Scranton Knights: WBS netminder Jimmy Mologousis delivered a standout weekend, earning back-to-back wins while stopping 75 of 78 shots. He made 37 saves in a 4–2 victory on Saturday and followed it up with 38 saves in a 2–1 win on Friday, finishing the two-game set with a stellar .962 save percentage and allowing just three goals over nearly 120 minutes.

Rookie: Arnaud Roberge – Wilkes/Barre Scranton Knights: Rookie forward Arnaud Roberge added 2 points to his resume over 2 games. Roberge potted two goals on Saturday’s 4-2 win for the Knights. 

 

MOUNTAIN DIVISION

Forward: Ben Taylor – Pueblo Bulls: Bulls forward Ben Taylor lit up the scoresheet tallying 8 points in 3 games. The Texas native added a goal and assist to start off the weekend in Thursday’s 3-0 win. On both Friday and Saturday’s games, Taylor added 2 goals and 1 assist to finish off the weekend with 5 goals and 3 assists. 

Defenseman: Daniel Macleish – Idaho Falls Spud Kings: Spud Kings defenseman posted 3 points over two games. In an OT win, Macleish posted a goal and an assist. Friday night, Daniel added an assist in the Spud Kings 4-2 victory. 

Goalie: Fuzz Aaedt – Rock Springs Miners: Rock Springs netminder Fuzz Aafedt backstopped his team to a huge 2–1 win on Saturday, turning aside 42 of 43 shots for a .977 save percentage in a full 60-minute effort. The victory came on the road against the Ogden Mustangs, the top-ranked team in the Mountain Division, making his performance even more impressive as he helped shut down one of the league’s most dangerous offenses.

Rookie: Riku Permi – Pueblo Bulls: In his NCDC debut weekend, Bulls rookie defenseman Riku Permi posted 4 points over three games. Riku found a goal in all three consecutive games, and mixed in an assist for a two point game on Friday. 

 

NEW ENGLAND DIVISION

Forward: Lukas Holmgren – Woodstock Slammers: Forward Lukas Holmgren put together a strong three-game performance, finishing with five points on the weekend. He scored once in Friday’s matchup, added a goal and an assist in Saturday’s 5–3 victory, and capped it with a hat trick in Sunday’s 6–1 win, helping lead the Woodstock Slammers to back-to-back victories to close out the series.

Defenseman: Patrick Dotson – Worcester Railers: Worcester Railers defenseman Patrick Dotson had a steady three-game stretch for the Worcester Railers, picking up three points from the blue line. He scored once in Wednesday’s 4–3 win, added an assist in Saturday’s matchup, and closed the weekend with a two-assist performance in Sunday’s 6–1 victory, contributing consistently at both ends of the ice.

Goalie: Jack Foy – Utica Jr. Comets: Jr. Comets netminder Jack Foy delivered a stellar three-win weekend on the road for Utica, recording back-to-back shutouts with 29 saves against IHC and 21 saves against SSK. He then came in relief against the Boston Junior Bruins after an early 0–3 deficit and turned aside all 30 shots the rest of the way to backstop a 4–3 regulation comeback win. Foy finished the weekend 3-0 and didn’t allow a goal across more than 170 minutes of play, cementing one of the strongest goaltending performances of the season.

Rookie: Peter Moore – Boston Dogs: Rookie forward Peter Moore made a strong impact for the Boston Dogs, posting three points in Friday’s 5–3 win. He scored once and added two assists, helping drive the offense in a key road victory.
