The National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from January 5-11, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.
ATLANTIC DIVISION
Forward: Timur Naletov – WBS Knights: Knights forward Timu Naletov tallied six points over 4 games. After a quiet game on Monday, Naletov picked up the pace finding points in each of his next three appearances. Timur posted a goal on Wednesday, followed by a two point game (1g, 1a) on Thursday and finished the week with a three assist night on Friday.
Defenseman: Charles Antrilli – Mercer Chiefs: Chiefs defenseman Charles Antrilli netted a goal on Saturday’s 5-1 win. Antrilli scored his 3rd goal of the season, helping Mercer defeat P.A.L. This season, Antrilli has played in 27 games where he has accumulated 12 points (3g, 9a).
Goalie: John Gazzola – Jersey Hitmen: Hitmen netminder John Gazzola was sensational between the pipes over the week. Gazzola posted a 38 shot shutout win in his lone performance. The New Jersey native now has 3 shutouts on the year along with a 2.05 GAA and a .936 SV%.
Rookie: Jed Lake – Rockets Hockey Club: Rookie forward Jed Lake, a Melbourne, Australia native, tallied 3 points in 3 games. Jed added an assist on Monday’s 3-2 SO win, then followed up by adding 2 goals of his own in Saturday’s 4-1 win over West Chester.
MOUNTAIN DIVISION
Forward: Hunter Whisenand – Idaho Falls Spud Kings: Spud Kings forward Hunter Whisenand posted 4 points over 2 games. The Edwardsville, IL native tallied 2 goals and 2 assists on Saturday’s 5-2 win over Grand Junction. Whisenand has played in just 6 games for the Spud Kings this season where he has totalled 7 points.
Defenseman: Marcus Jackson – Pueblo Bulls: Bulls defenseman Marcus Jackson added a helper in the team’s 5-3 win against Ogden on Friday. Jackson, who wears an “A” for the Bulls, has played in 31 games this season and has recorded 16 points.
Goalie: Devin Degenstein – Idaho Falls Spud Kings: Spud Kings netminder Devin Degenstein delivered a steady weekend in net for Idaho Falls, posting a 1-1 record while turning aside 45 of 49 shots over two games. He was especially sharp in the Spud Kings’ 5–2 win, stopping 26 of 28 shots, and helped keep his team competitive in an overtime loss with a composed performance under pressure. Degenstein finished the weekend with a .918 save percentage and a 1.98 goals-against average,
Rookie: Roman Thompson – Pueblo Bulls: Rookie forward Roman Thompson totalled 3 points in 3 games. Thompson added an assist on Thursday, then potted two goals on Friday’s 5-3 win.
NEW ENGLAND DIVISION 
Forward: Jake Novak – Boston Jr. Bruins: Boston Jr. Bruins forward Jake Novak found himself on the scoresheet in each of the 3 games he played in over the week. Novak posted 2 points (1G, 1A) to start the week, followed by a 1 assist night on Saturday, then added a goal and 2 assists on Sunday.
Defenseman: Lear Voit – Utica Jr. Comets: Utica defenseman Lear Voit posted 2 points over two games. The Wexford, PA native scored a goa lon Friday’s 7-3 win, then dished out an assist on Sunday’s 5-2 victory.
Goalie: Stephen Chen – Boston Jr. Rangers: Boston jr. Rangers goalie Stephen Chen put together an outstanding weekend between the pipes, going 2–0 while facing one of the heaviest workloads of any goaltender. Chen turned aside 74 of 78 shots, highlighted by a shootout win, and finished the stretch with a .949 save percentage and a 1.92 goals-against average.
Rookie: Drew Carr – Boston Jr. Bruins: Rookie forward Drew Carr tallied 6 points over 3 games. The Medway, MA native netted a goal and dished out 5 assists, highlighted by a 3 point game on Sunday where he added a goal and 2 assists. This season, Carr has played in 36 games totalled 32 points (13G, 19A).
