NCDC Stars of the Week | Oct. 13-19, 2025

The National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from October 13-19, 2025.Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.
Atlantic Division
Forward: Derek Tremblay – Jersey Hitmen: Derek Tremblay was a key offensive catalyst this week, helping lead his team to a pair of dominant shutout victories. He opened the week with a three-assist performance in a 6-0 win, showcasing his playmaking ability and vision. Tremblay followed that up by adding a power-play goal in a 7-0 victory, finishing the two-game stretch with four points (1G, 3A).
Defenseman: Aidan Holland – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: Aidan Holland played a steady and effective two-way game for the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders during a perfect 2-0 week. The defenseman recorded a power-play goal and an assist in Friday’s 3-1 victory.
Goaltender: Nick Bunch – Jersey Hitmen: Nick Bunch was unbeatable between the pipes for the Jersey Hitmen, turning aside all 33 shots he faced in a dominant 7-0 win over the Connecticut Jr. Rangers.
Rookie: Stryker Foster – West Chester Wolves: Stryker Foster delivered a breakout performance for the West Chester Wolves, powering his team to a 4-3 victory over the Connecticut Chiefs. The rookie forward recorded one goal and two assists for a three-point night.
Mountain Division
Forward: Caleb Bendell – Ogden Mustangs: Caleb Bendell put together a dominant offensive weekend for the Ogden Mustangs, helping guide his team to back-to-back road wins. Bendell tallied a goal and an assist in each contest, finishing the two-game stretch with four points (2G, 2A).
Defenseman: Beck Picconatto – Ogden Mustangs: Beck Picconatto delivered a standout two-way effort for the Ogden Mustangs in their 6-1 road win over the Provo Predators. The defenseman posted three points (1G, 2A) and a +2 rating, contributing on both sides of the puck.
Goaltender: Merik Grinaker – Ogden Mustangs: Merik Grinaker was rock-solid in goal for the Ogden Mustangs, stopping 34 of 35 shots in a 6-1 victory over the Casper Warbirds. The netminder posted a stellar .971 save percentage.
Rookie: Liam Sheward – Ogden Mustangs: Liam Sheward made a strong impact for the Ogden Mustangs, showcasing his playmaking ability in the team’s 6-1 win. The rookie forward notched three assists in the victory.
New England Division
Forward: Kayson Un Yi – Boston Dogs: Kayson Un Yi was an offensive force for the Boston Dogs, totaling four goals across two games against the St. Stephen County Moose. After scoring once in Wednesday’s matchup, he erupted for a hat trick in Thursday’s 7-1 victory, including a power-play goal.
Defenseman: Jack Harney – South Shore Kings: Jack Harney anchored the blue line for the South Shore Kings during a perfect 3-0 week, contributing offensively while maintaining steady defensive play. The defenseman tallied goals in back-to-back games before adding an assist in the weekend finale, finishing with three points (2G, 1A).
Goaltender: Logan Perez – Islanders Hockey Club: Logan Perez was perfect in goal for the Islanders Hockey Club, stopping all 21 shots he faced in a commanding 10-0 win over the St. Stephen County Moose.
Rookie: Eli Heinze – South Shore Kings: Eli Heinze continued his strong rookie campaign for the South Shore Kings, finding the scoresheet in back-to-back games during a perfect 3-0 week. Heinze netted two goals, including one on the power play, in a 6-1 win before adding another goal in Sunday’s 2-1 victory.
