Premier SOTW

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from December 8–14, 2025. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Alberta Division

Forward: Austin Stewardson – Southern Alberta Mustangs
Austin Stewardson put together a 6-point week (3G, 3A) in two games to lead the Mustangs’ offense.

Defenseman: Parker Ma – Southern Alberta Mustangs
Parker Ma anchored the Mustangs’ blue line with steady, reliable play throughout the week.

Goalie: Drareg Galang – Calgary Bandits
Bandits goalie Drareg Galang delivered strong play in net for Calgary to earn the Alberta Division honor.

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Marcus Lunski – West Chester Wolves
West Chester forward Marucs Lunski posted 5 points (2G, 3A) in one game to spark the Wolves’ attack.

Defenseman: Connor Nowicki – Hershey Cubs
Cubs defender Connor Nowicki totaled 3 points (1G, 2A) in his game action, contributing at both ends of the ice.

Goalie: Demetri Mavromichalis – West Chester Wolves
Wolves goalie Demetri Mavromichalis earned a win with 14 saves on 15 shots, finishing with a 1.00 GAA and .933 save percentage.

 

Florida Division

Forward: Shawn Belanger-Chisholm – Florida Jr. Blades
Jr. Blades Shawn Belanger-Chisholm recorded 5 points (2G, 3A) in two games, including both a power-play and shorthanded goal.

Defenseman: Ashton Sesti – Florida Jr. Blades
Defenseman Ashton Sesti contributed 2 points (1G, 1A) in two games to help drive Florida from the back end.

Goalie: Drew Osinga – Tampa Bay Juniors
Drew Osinga earned a win with 40 saves on 42 shots, posting a 2.00 GAA and .952 save percentage.

 

Great Lakes Division

Forward: Jack Treacy – Red River Spartans
Forward Jack Treacy exploded for 14 points (9G, 5A) in four games, including a power-play goal and a game-winner.

Defenseman: Enrick Fournier – Metro Jets
Jets defenseman Enrick Fournier added 3 points (1G, 2A) in four games to steady the Jets’ blue line.

Goalie: Daxton Lucidi – Toledo Cherokee
Cherokee goaltender Daxton Lucidi was outstanding at 4-0 with a 1.20 GAA and .951 save percentage, stopping 77 of 81 shots over 200 minutes.

 

Midwest Division

Forward: Kaden McElroy – Chicago Cougars
Cougars forward Kaden McElroy produced 9 points (2G, 7A) in five games, including a game-winning goal.

Defenseman: Tyler Rentner – Chicago Cougars
Tyler Rentner chipped in 3 points (2G, 1A) in five games to power the Cougars from the blue line.

Goalie: Gleb Rakov – MJDP
MJDP’s Gleb Rakov was sharp in net, stopping 57 of 58 shots for a 0.60 GAA and .983 save percentage in his week.

 

New England Division

Forward: Damian Kostadina – Islander HC
Islanders Hockey Club forward Damian Kostadina put up 4 points (3G, 1A) in two games, including a game-winning goal.

Defenseman: Max Fleming – South Shore Kings

Goalie: Trevor Walmsley – South Shore Kings

Weston Schenkelberg powered the Squatch attack with a strong offensive week to earn North Division honors.

Defenseman: Brendan Carmody – Minnesota Squatch
Brendan Carmody provided steady minutes and reliable puck movement from the Minnesota blue line.

Goalie: Parker Ambury – Minnesota Squatch
Parker Ambury battled through a heavy workload over four games, facing 112 shots while logging 200 minutes in net.

 

Northwest Division

Forward: Logan Powers – Vernal Oilers
Logan Powers produced 5 points (4G, 1A) in two games, including a game-winning goal for Vernal.

Defenseman: Garrett Baxter – Bremerton Sockeyes
Garrett Baxter posted 8 points (1G, 7A) in four games to lead all defensemen and drive Bremerton’s transition.

Goalie: Kole Kronstedt – Vernal Oilers
Kole Kronstedt was perfect in his start, earning a shutout with 18 saves on 18 shots (1.000 SV%, 0.00 GAA).

 

Pacific Division

Forward: Nick Mardani – Ventura Vikings
Nick Mardani tallied 5 points (1G, 4A) in two games to pace the Ventura offense.

Defenseman: Ugnius Simbelis – Lake Tahoe Lakers
Ugnius Simbelis registered 2 points (1G, 1A) in his game action for the Lakers.

Goalie: Domenik McInenly – Ontario Jr. Reign
Ontario Jr. Reign Domenik McInenly earned a win with a 1.00 GAA and .966 save percentage, stopping 28 of 29 shots.
