Premier SOTW

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the league during the week of February 16-22, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Alberta Division

Forward: Austin Galway – Hanna Havoc: In one game played, Austin Galway posted 2 goals and 1 assist. 

Defenseman: Liraz Perrott – Three Hills Titans: Liraz posted a shorthanded goal for the Titans in his lone game played during the week. 

Goalie: Caden Nelson – Three Hills Titans: Titans netminder Caden Nelson stopped 35 of 37 shots for a 2.00 GAA and a .946 SV% to go 1-0 over the week. 

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Max McKay – West Chester Wolves: Max McKay posted 4 points (1g, 3a in 2GP), factoring into the Wolves’ offense in both games while averaging two points per outing.

Defenseman: Finn McGolrick – West Chester Wolves: Finn McGolrick recorded 2 points (1g, 1a in 2GP) and contributed defensively with steady, mistake-free minutes on the blue line.

Goalie: Wyatt Demers – West Chester Wolves: Wyatt Demers stopped all 25 shots he faced across two appearances, finishing the week with a perfect 1.000 SV% and 0.00 GAA.

 

Florida Division

Forward: Jacob Sakitkovski – Coral Springs Jr. Cats: Jacob Sakitkovski led all Premier scorers with 10 points (6g, 4a in 3GP), including two power-play goals and two shorthanded goals.

Defenseman: Adam Holm – Coral Springs Jr. Cats: Adam Holm added 4 points (1g, 3a in 3GP) and logged top-pair minutes while quarterbacking special teams.

Goalie: Konsta Hiltunen – Tampa Bay Juniors: Konsta Hiltunen went 1-0 with 28 saves on 30 shots, finishing with a .933 SV% and 2.00 GAA.

 

Great Lakes Division

Forward: Ethan Gray – Bearcat Junior Hockey Club: Ethan Gray totaled 4 assists in 2GP, producing at a two-points-per-game rate and acting as the primary setup man for Bearcat’s offense.

Defenseman: Jay Cormier – Toledo Cherokee: Jay Cormier posted 5 points in 2 games with 1 goal and 4 assists. 

Goalie: Daxton Lucidi – Toledo Cherokee: Daxton Lucidi stopped 39 of 41 shots in his lone start, producing a .951 SV% and 2.00 GAA.

 

Midwest Division

Forward: Will Minarik – Chicago Cougars: Will Minarik produced 7 points (5g, 2a in 4GP), including a pair of multi-goal nights, leading the Cougars’ attack.

Defenseman: Logan Fernandes – Chicago Cougars: Logan Fernandes finished with 2 points (1g, 1a in 4GP) while anchoring the blue line defensively.

Goalie: Aidan Wysoglad – Chicago Cougars: Aidan Wysoglad posted a 2-0-0 record with a .945 SV% and 1.50 GAA, stopping 52 of 55 shots.

 

New England Division

North Division

Northwest Division

Forward: Juuso Kuisma – Bremerton Sockeyes: Juuso Kuisma recorded 8 points (6g, 2a in 3GP), including a pair of game-winners and a power-play goal.

Defenseman: Jordan Trakosas – Vernal Oilers: Jordan Trakosas was elite offensively, posting 9 points (1g, 8a in 3GP) to lead all Premier defensemen.

Goalie: Matej Hronsky – Seattle Totems: Matej Hronsky went 2-0-0 with 59 saves on 60 shots, finishing with a .983 SV% and 0.50 GAA.

 

Pacific Division

Forward: Ethan Yang – Ventura Vikings: Ethan Yang added 2 points (1g, 1a in 3GP) while logging heavy minutes in all situations for Ventura.

Defenseman: Oscar Thurn – Ventura Vikings: Oscar Thurn contributed key defensive minutes and clean puck movement while helping stabilize the Vikings blue line.

Goalie: Alex Wendt – Ventura Vikings: Alex Wendt faced heavy volume, stopping 90 of 96 shots for a .938 SV% across three starts.

 

Southeast Division

Forward: Marc-Andre Perron – Carolina Jr. Hurricanes: In 2 games played, Marc-Andre Perron posted 4 points with 1 goal and 3 assists.

Defenseman: Cooper Thomas – Carolina Jr. Hurricanes: Cooper Thomas posted 3 assists in the 2 games he played in. 

Goalie: Felix Tolke – Hampton Roads Whalers: Felix Tolke posted a 23-save shutout, finishing the week with a 1.000 SV% and 0.00 GAA in two appearances.

 

St. Lawrence Division

Forward: Charles Olmstead – Universel College Gatineau: Charles Olmstead recorded 7 points in 2 games. His play was highlighted by a 6 point night with 3 goals and 3 assists. 

Defenseman: Louis-Felix Drouin – Universel College Ga: Louis-Felix Drouin added 4 points with 1 goal and 3 assists.
