Premier SOTW

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the league during the week of January 19–25, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Alberta Division

Forward: Eli Quinney – OLCN Scouts
Eli Quinney put up eight points in three games (4G, 4A), driving the Scouts’ offense with consistent scoring and playmaking.

Defenseman: William Thomlison – Southern Alberta Mustangs
William Thomlison anchored the Mustangs’ blue line with steady defensive positioning and strong puck movement all week adding a goal in his one showing and a +2 rating. 

Goaltender: Koy Sutherland – Southern Alberta Mustangs
Koy Sutherland delivered a solid week in net, providing dependable goaltending and key saves for the Mustangs stopping 64 shots for a .950 SV%. 

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Nick Morolla – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders
Nick Morolla produced a strong offensive showing with four points (3G, 1A), including a key go-ahead tally.

Defenseman: Cole Girgis – Hershey Cubs
Cole Girgis posted two assist in one game for the Cubs. 

Goaltender: Dominik Feiler – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders
Dominik Feiler was perfect across two starts, earning back-to-back shutouts with 58 saves on 58 shots.

 

Florida Division

Forward: Brady Lane – Tampa Bay Juniors
Brady Lane contributed two goals across two games, providing timely scoring for Tampa Bay.

Defenseman: Oliver Melnychuk – Florida Eels
Oliver Melnychuk produced a four-assist effort in his lone game, leading all Eels defensemen offensively this week.

Goaltender: Evan Stringer – Coral Springs Jr. Cats
Evan Stringer earned a win with a 30-save performance, finishing the week with a .938 save percentage.

 

Great Lakes Division

Forward: Jack Treacy – Red River Spartans
Jack Treacy erupted for eleven points (6G, 5A) over two games, one of the most dominant offensive performances in the league this week.

Defenseman: Colton Place – Battle Creek Kernels
Kernels defenseman Colton Place posted 2 assists over 3 games. 

Goaltender: Philip Hall – Metro Jets
Philip Hall stopped 22 of 23 shots in his appearance, posting a .957 save percentage and a 1.00 GAA.

 

Midwest Division

Forward: Illia Moskvin – Chicago T-Rex
Illia Moskvin led Chicago’s offense with nine points (3G, 6A) in two games, including a game-winning goal.

Defenseman: Jayden Provencher – MJDP
Jayden Provencher added a goal and an assist for MJDP, contributing at both ends of the ice.

Goaltender: Logan D’Andrea – MJDP
Logan D’Andrea secured a win with a strong 36-save outing, finishing with a .923 save percentage.

 

New England Division

Forward: Tiki Martinez – Worcester Jr. Railers
Tiki Martinez recorded four points (2G, 2A) in two games, providing reliable offense for Worcester.

Defenseman: Bradyn Maclean – Boston Jr. Rangers
Bradyn Maclean posted two points (2A) in his appearance while delivering strong defensive play.

Goaltender: Chris Finger – Utica Jr. Comets
Chris Finger earned a win with a 26-save performance, allowing just one goal for a .963 save percentage.

 

North Division

Forward: Rylan Yost – Minnesota Blue Ox

Mason Rizik led the Totems’ defense with eight points (3G, 5A), including three power-play goals.

Goaltender: Spencer Harris – Iron County Yeti
Spencer Harris earned a win with a 19-save performance while allowing just two goals.

 

Pacific Division

Forward: Ethan Yang – Ventura Vikings
Ethan Yang added six points (2G, 4A) over three games, providing consistent production for Ventura.

Defenseman: Tadeas Burda – Fresno Monsters
Tadeas Burda contributed two assists on the blue line and logged valuable minutes in all situations.

Goaltender: Noah Hammarstrom – Fresno Monsters
Fresno goalie Noah Hammarstrom picked up an OT win after stopping 41 shots for a .891 SV%. 

 

Southeast Division

Forward: Daniel Alexander – Potomac Patriots
Daniel Alexander posted seven points (1G, 6A) in two games, pacing the Patriots’ offense.

Defenseman: Nikolia Shevchenko – Potomac Patriots
Nikolia Shevchenko added two points (1G, 1A) while playing heavy defensive minutes.

Goaltender: Declan Sweeny – Potomac Patriots
Declan Sweeny earned a win while stopping 30 of 33 shots, finishing with a .909 save percentage.

 

St. Lawrence Division

Forward: Olivier Sirois – Montreal Black Vees
Olivier Sirois scored four goals in his lone game, including a clutch go-ahead tally.

Defenseman: Matt Burns – Hawkesbury Knights
