Premier Stars of the Week | Jan. 26 – Feb. 1, 2026
The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the league during the week of January 26th to February 1st, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.
Alberta Division
Forward – Easton Popiel (Diamond Valley Rockies): Easton Popiel powered his week with 3 goals and 1 assist over 2 games, including two on the power play. 
Defenseman – Austin Galway (Hanna Havoc): Austin Galway anchored the Hanna blue line with steady defensive play throughout the week with 1 goal and 2 assists with a +2 rating.
Goaltender – Hans Drareg Galang (Calgary Bandits): Drareg Galang delivered a strong week in net, posting 59 saves over 117 minutes with a .915 save percentage to go 1-1.
Atlantic Division
Forward – Max McKay (West Chester Wolves): Max McKay recorded an impressive 10 assists in 3 games to drive the Wolves’ offense.
Defenseman – Ashton Duchini (Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights): Ashton Duchini produced 2 goals and 2 assists, including a power-play goal, to lead the Knights’ blue line.
Goaltender – Dominik Feiler (P.A.L. Jr. Islanders): Dominik Feiler went 2-0-0 with a .959 save percentage over 148+ minutes of action.
Florida Division
Forward – Nathan Novak (Florida Jr. Blades): Nathan Novak posted a 4-assist game to highlight Florida’s offensive output.
Defenseman – Melvin Nilsson (Tampa Bay Juniors): Melvin Nilsson struck twice from the back end and provided strong transitional play.
Goaltender – Chris Giglio (Florida Jr. Blades): Chris Giglio stopped 35 of 38 shots to secure a win with a .921 save percentage.
Great Lakes Division
Forward – Bobby Leis (Toledo Cherokee): Bobby Leis totaled 3 goals and 3 assists across a productive two-game stretch.
Defenseman – Dennis Horny (Columbus Mavericks): Dennis Horny contributed 1 goal and 3 assists in 2 games.
Goaltender – Jakub Obzera (Metro Jets): Jakub Obzera earned a win with 29 saves on 30 shots for a .967 save percentage.
Midwest Division
Forward – Spencer Kauke (Chicago Cougars): Spencer Kauke scored 4 goals in 3 games, including 3 power-play tallies and a game-winner.
