Premier SOTW

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the league during the week of January 26th to February 1st, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Alberta Division

Forward – Easton Popiel (Diamond Valley Rockies): Easton Popiel powered his week with 3 goals and 1 assist over 2 games, including two on the power play.

Defenseman – Austin Galway (Hanna Havoc): Austin Galway anchored the Hanna blue line with steady defensive play throughout the week with 1 goal and 2 assists with a +2 rating. 

Goaltender – Hans Drareg Galang (Calgary Bandits): Drareg Galang delivered a strong week in net, posting 59 saves over 117 minutes with a .915 save percentage to go 1-1. 

 

Atlantic Division

Forward – Max McKay (West Chester Wolves): Max McKay recorded an impressive 10 assists in 3 games to drive the Wolves’ offense.
Defenseman – Ashton Duchini (Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights): Ashton Duchini produced 2 goals and 2 assists, including a power-play goal, to lead the Knights’ blue line.
 Goaltender – Dominik Feiler (P.A.L. Jr. Islanders): Dominik Feiler went 2-0-0 with a .959 save percentage over 148+ minutes of action.

 

Florida Division

Forward  – Nathan Novak (Florida Jr. Blades): Nathan Novak posted a 4-assist game to highlight Florida’s offensive output.
 Defenseman – Melvin Nilsson (Tampa Bay Juniors): Melvin Nilsson struck twice from the back end and provided strong transitional play.
 Goaltender – Chris Giglio (Florida Jr. Blades): Chris Giglio stopped 35 of 38 shots to secure a win with a .921 save percentage.

 

Great Lakes Division

Forward – Bobby Leis (Toledo Cherokee): Bobby Leis totaled 3 goals and 3 assists across a productive two-game stretch.
 Defenseman – Dennis Horny (Columbus Mavericks): Dennis Horny contributed 1 goal and 3 assists in 2 games.
Goaltender – Jakub Obzera (Metro Jets): Jakub Obzera earned a win with 29 saves on 30 shots for a .967 save percentage.

 

Midwest Division

Forward – Spencer Kauke (Chicago Cougars): Spencer Kauke scored 4 goals in 3 games, including 3 power-play tallies and a game-winner.
 Defenseman  – Charlie Domaracki (Chicago Cougars): Charlie Domaracki put up 4 assists in 3 games to drive play from the blue line.
 Goaltender – Charlie Donoghue (Chicago Cougars): Charlie Donoghue posted a shutout and perfect 27-for-27 week across 2 appearances.

 

New England Division

Forward – Chris Otero (Boston Jr. Rangers): Chris Otero produced 4 goals and 7 assists for an 11-point week with a game-winner.
 Defenseman – Domenic Visocchi (Worcester Jr. Railers): Domenic Visocchi registered 1 goal and 5 assists.
Goaltender – Andrew Craig (Islanders Hockey Club): Andrew Craig went 2-0-0 with a .980 save percentage and a 0.61 GAA in 98+ minutes.

 

North Division

Forward – Preston Lundbohm (Northwest Express): Preston Lundbohm notched 3 goals and 3 assists over 2 games, including a game-winner.
Defenseman – Calen Jackson (Minnesota Mullets): Calen Jackson provided a steady defensive outing with 1 assist in his appearance.
Goaltender – Jackson Gruttadauria (Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings): Jackson Gruttadauria turned in a dominant 2-0-0 week with a .975 save percentage and a shutout.

 

Northwest Division

Forward – Evan Tsadilas (Ontario Jr. Reign): Evan Tsadilas put up 5 goals and 5 assists across 2 games to finish with 10 points.
 Defenseman –  Alex Plunz (Ontario Jr. Reign): Alex Plunz produced a 4-point performance with 1 goal and 3 assists.
 Goaltender – Makai Collins (Ontario Jr. Reign): Makai Collins had a dominant week, going 2-0-0 with a .963 save percentage, a 0.33 GAA, and a shutout.

 

Southeast Division

Forward – Jake Malzone (Charlotte Rush): Jake Malzone scored 3 goals in 2 games to lead the Rush attack.
