Premier SOTW

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from November 10-16, 2025. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Alberta Division

Forward: Joey Huber – Diamond Valley Rockies: Diamond Valley forward Joey Huber tallied 4 points over 2 games. Huber posted 2 goals on Saturday and then had 1 goal and assist on Sunday. 

Defenseman: Corwin Waithe – Southern Alberta Mustangs: Corwin Waithe totalled 2 points over the week. The Mustangs defenseman had a 2 point game with a goal and an assist. 

Goalie: Koy Sutherland – Southern Alberta Mustangs: Mustangs goalie Koy Sutherland picked up a win on Saturday against the OLCN Scouts, 6-3. Sutherland stopped 43 tries on net for a .935 SV%. 

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Aaron Shanks – West Chester Wolves: Wolves forward Aaron Shanks tallied 5 points over two games played. Shanks added 2 goals and handed out 3 assists. 

Defenseman: Jacob Desjardins – West Chester Wolves: Wolves defender Jacob Desjardins recorded 4 points over 2 games. Desjardins dished out 2 assists on Saturday, and then added a goal and assist on Saturday while maintaining a +2 rating. 

Goaltender: Jackson Taraborrelli – Hershey Cubs: Cubs goalie Jackson Taraborelli was fantastic in net picking up a win. The netminder stopped 37 shots on net and posted a 1.00 GAA and a .947 SV%. 

 

Florida Division

Forward: Sam Moore – Tampa Bay Juniors: Sam Moore recorded 8 points in 3 games for Tampa Bay. Moore scored 5 goals and 3 assists. 

Defenseman: Oliver Melnychuk – Florida Eels: Eels defenseman Oliver Melnychuk netted a goal over the two games he appeared in. 

Goaltender: Konsta Hiltunen – Tampa Bay Juniors: Tampa Bay netminder Konsta Hiltunen went 1-1 with 53 saves and 1 shutout win.

 

Great Lakes Division

Forward: Cameron Krause – Toledo Cherokee: Over two games played, Toledo forward Cameron Krause recorded 9 points with 4 goals and 5 assists. 

Defenseman: Landon Edwards – Toledo Cherokee: Toledo defenseman Landon Edwards was fantastic over two games combining for 4 points (1 goal and 3 assists). 

Goaltender: Colin Porn – Fresh Coast Freeze: Fresh Coast goalie Colin Porn backstopped 81 of 86 shots over two games and kept a perfect 2-0 record. Colin combined for a .941 SV% and a 2.50 GAA. 

 

Midwest Division

Forward: Spencer Kauke – Chicago Cougars: Cougars forward Spencer Kauke totalled 6 points over 2 games played. Kauke added 3 goals and 3 assists over those 2 games. 

Defenseman: Charlie Domaracki – Chicago Cougars: Chicago Cougars blue-liner Charlie Domaracki tallied 3 points with 1 goal and 2 assists. 

Goaltender: Aiden Wysoglad – Chicago Cougars: Cougars goaltender Aiden Wysoglad added another win to his resume over the week. In a 6-3 win, Wysoglad stopped 17 shots for a .850 SV%. 

 

New England Division

Forward: Jacob Bruno – Utica Jr. Comets: Utica Jr. Comets forward Jacob Bruno totalled 5 points over 2 games played. Bruno netted 3 goals and handed out 2 assists. 

Defenseman: Rory Gately – South Shore Kings: South Shore defenseman Rory Gately was outstanding as he tallied 2 points over two games. Gately added an assist in each game over the weekend where the Kings won both 2-1, including one game in overtime. 

Goaltender: Jack Signorelli – South Shore Kings: South Shore’s goaltender Jack Signorelli was a major factor in the team’s 2-1 overtime win on Tuesday. Signorelli stopped 34 of the 35 shots he faced in the game for a .971 SV%. 

 

North Division

Forward: Grant O’Connor – Minnesota Squatch: Squatch forward Grant O’Connor was amazing last week over 3 games where he combined for 10 points. On Wednesday, O’Connor had an 8 point game with 4 goals and 4 assists. He followed up on Saturday with a 2 assist game. 

Defenseman: Braeden Kerr – Minnesota Squatch: Squatch defenseman Braeden Kerr tallied 7 points over 3 games. Kerr started the week with a 3 point game (1 goal and 2 assists), added another assist in Friday’s game, then topped off the weekend with a hat-trick. 

Goaltender: Preston Farr – Minnesota Squatch: Preston Farr was unbeatable on Friday for the Squatch as they won 6-0. Farr kept his near clear of 23 shots for the shutout win. 

 

Northwest Division

Forward: Aatu Suontakanen – Seattle Totems: In a three game series with McCall, Aatu Suontakanen was outstanding as he tallied 11 points. In Friday night’s game, Aatu totalled 4 points with a goal and 3 assists. Saturday he had both a goal and an assist, and then on Sunday he recorded 2 goals and 3 assists. 

Defenseman: William Hagenmarck – Iron County Yeti: Yeti defenseman William Hagenmarck totalled 6 points. He started the weekend off with a 4 point game (1 goal and 3 assists) then followed up with a 2 assist game. 

Goalie: Yehor Khmara – Seattle Totems: Yehor Khmara backstopped the Seattle Totems to a dominant 2–0 weekend, allowing just two goals across 120 minutes of play. He opened the set with a flawless 27-save shutout in an 8–0 win on Saturday, then followed it up with a strong 24-save performance in Sunday’s 10–2 victory. Across both games, Khmara posted an outstanding .962 save percentage, 1.00 GAA, and stopped 51 of 53 shots. 

 

Pacific Division

Forward: Ethan Yang – Ventura Vikings: Vikings forward Ethan Yang put on a show as he totalled 8 points in 3 games. Yang had a goal and an assist on Friday, followed by a 5 point game with 2 goals and 3 assists. He finished the weekend with a one goal game. 

Defenseman: Christian Yi – Ontario Jr. Reign: Ontario Jr. Reign defenseman Christian Yi was sensational over 2 games played. On Saturday’s 8-4 win, Yi added a goal. On Sunday, the defender netted 4 goals and handed out an assist. 

Goalie: Alex Wendt – Ventura Vikings: Alex Wendt delivered a standout weekend for the Ventura Vikings, going 2–0 while turning aside 72 of 74 shots. He opened with a 33-save performance in a 7–1 win on Friday, then followed with an even stronger outing on Sunday, stopping 39 of 40 in a 4–1 victory. Wendt finished the weekend with an exceptional .973 save percentage, allowing just two goals across 120 minutes of play. 

 

Southeast Division

Forward: Filipp Papshev – Charlotte Rush: Rush forward Filipp Papshev posted two goals in a 4-3 SO win on Saturday. 

Defenseman: Ben Weisheyer – Charlotte Rush: Charlotte defenseman Ben Weisheyer tallied 3 points over 2 games. The defenseman added an assist in Saturday’s win, then followed up adding 2 goals, one on the power-play, on Sunday.

Goalie: Cole Currier – Potomac Patriots: Cole Currier turned in a strong weekend for the Potomac Patriots, appearing in back-to-back games against Richmond. He stopped 32 of 34 shots (.941 SV%) in Sunday’s 6–4 win, helping secure the victory with several key saves down the stretch. Currier also posted a solid showing the night before, turning away 20 of 23 in a tight 3–4 shootout loss. Across the weekend, he finished with a combined 52 saves.

 

St. Lawrence Division

Forward: Luca Goodwin – Universel College Gatineau: Universel Gatineau forward Luca Goodwin totalled 5 points over 3 games. On Saturday’s 7-3 win, Goodwin tallied 5 points with 2 goals and 3 assists.

Defenseman: Felix-Antoine Scully – St. Lazare Avalanche: Avalanche defenseman Felix-Antoine Scully added an assist on Thursday’s 7-2 win. 

Goalie: Louvik Fauteux – Universel College Sherbrooke: Louvik Fauteux posted a perfect game on Friday in a 4-0 win. Fauteux turned aside all of the 39 shots he faced in the shoutout victory.
