Premier SOTW

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from November 3-9, 2025. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

Alberta Division

Forward: Gavin McKay – Calgary Bandits: Gavin McKay posted 7 points for the Bandits, recording 3 goals and 4 assists. 

Defenseman: Mason Seibel – Calgary Bandits: Calgary blue-liner Mason Seibel recorded 5 points, with 4 goals and an assist. 

Goalie: Caden Nelson – Three Hills Titans: Titans goaltender Caden Nelson picked up a win after stopping 35 of 27 shots. He was good for a 2.00 GAA and a .934 SV%. 

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Alex Labos – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: Jr. Islanders forward Alex Labos posted six points over two games. Thursday he added two assists in a 6-3 win, then had two goals and two assists on Saturdays 10-2 win.

Defenseman: Jake Strong – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: Jake Strong had a strong performance for the Jr. Islanders as he totalled 5 points in 2 games. The defenseman added 1 goal and 4 assists, while keeping a +8 rating. 

Goaltender: Elijah Wiltshire – West Chester Wolves: Wolves goaltender Elijah Wiltshire kept his crease clear of goals as he posted a shutout win. The netminder faced 32 shots. 

 

Florida Division

Forward: Raphael Bergeron – Typhoon HC: Typhoon forward Raphael Bergeron recorded 4 points over 2 games. Bergeron added two assists in Thursday’s 6-2 win, then followed up with the game-winning goal and an assist.

Defenseman: Tyler Valdez – Typhoon HC: Typhoon defenseman Tyler Valdez posted 2 points over 2 games with a goal and an assist. 

Goaltender: Jasper Brophy – Typhoon HC: Jasper Brophy picked up a pair of wins after stopping 81 shots over 2 games. The goalie posted a 2.06 GAA and a .952 SV%. 

 

Great Lakes Division

Forward: Frankie Cardarella – Bearcat Hockey Club: Bearcat’s forward Frankie Cardarella posted 5 points over 2 games. The forward added 3 goals and 2 assists. 

Defenseman: Austin Helder – Fresh Coast Freeze: Fresh Coast blue-liner Austin Helder added 6 points over 2 games played. The defenseman added 4 goals and dished out 2 assists. 

Goaltender: Daxton Lucidi – Toledo Cherokee: Daxton Lucidi went 2-0 over the weekend picking wins on both Friday and Saturday. Lucidi stopped 81 of the 86 shots he faced for a .942 SV% and 2.31 GAA. 

 

Midwest Division

Forward: Ryan Brown – Chicago Crush: Crush forward Ryan Brown added two assists over three games played. 

Defenseman: Connor Edwards – Chicago Crush: Chicago defenseman Connor Edwards added 1 assist over 3 games. 

Goaltender: Brendan Kusbel – Chicago Crush: Chicago Crush goalie Brendan Kusbel went 1-1 over the week. The goalie stopped 80 shots over two games and posted a 1.96 GAA and a .950 SV%. 

 

New England Division

Forward: Fyodor Tarasov – Worcester Jr. Railers: Over 2 games played, Jr. Railers forward Fyodor Tarasov dished out 5 assists. 

Defenseman: Mattias Signoretti – South Shore Kings: South Shore Kings defenseman Mattias Signoretti dished out 1 assist in 1 game. 

Goaltender: Steven Louiselle – Northern Cyclones: Steven Louiselle posted a shoutout win for the Northern Cyclones. Louiselle turned away all 18 shots he faced in the win. 

 

North Division

Forward: Felix Ahlstrand – Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings: Riverkings forward Felix Ahlstrand put on a show over two games as he recorded 14 points. The forward added a hat-trick to his resume and two assists on Friday nights 8-0 win. He topped that performance on Saturday with a 9 point game scoring 5 goals and handing out 4 assists.

Defenseman: Olivier Bolduc – Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings: Olivier Bolduc added 5 points in 2 games for the Riverkings. Bolduc scored 1 goal and added 4 assists. 

Goaltender: Parker Ambury – Minnesota Squatch: Parker Ambury was a wall in net for the Havoc over the weekend, backstopping his team to a pair of victories. He turned aside 17 of 18 shots in a 4-1 win on Friday before following it up with a 33-save effort in a 2-1 shootout victory on Saturday. In total, Ambury stopped 50 of 52 shots for a stellar .962 save percentage, 

Northwest Division

Forward: Kristian Halbych – McCall Smokejumpers: Smokejumpers forward Kristian Halbych was sensational over 3 games as he recorded 12 points. He added 6 goals and 6 assists over those 3 showings. 

Defenseman: Colin Sharp – McCall Smokejumpers: McCall defenseman Colin Sharp posted 5 assists over 3 games. 

Goalie: Topias Leppanen – Bremerton Sockeyes: Bremerton goalie Topias Leppanen was perfect between the pipes stopping all 54 shots he faced. 

 

Pacific Division

Forward: Ethan Yang – Ventura Vikings: Ventura forward Ethan Yang added 5 points over 2 games. The defenseman posted 2 goals and handed out 3 assists. 

Defenseman: Griffin Gagnon: Ventura defenseman Griffin Gagnon posted two assists in a 6-2 win on Saturday.

Goaltender: Nick Perry – Ontario Jr. Reign: Ontario Jr. Reign netminder Nick Perry stopped 41 shots for a .976 SV% in a 2-1 overtime win against Long Beach.

 

Southeast Division

Forward: Connor Patton – Carolina Jr. Hurricanes: Jr. Canes forward Connor Patton recorded 3 points over two games played. The forward had a hat-trick on Saturday’s 5-4 shootout loss, but he recorded two goals on the power-play. 

Defenseman: Cooper Thomas – Carolina Jr. Hurricanes: In 2 games played, Cooper Thomas recorded 3 points. The defenseman added two assists on Saturday, and then 1 on Sunday. 

Goaltender: Declan Sweeney – Potomac Patriots: Potomac netminder Declan Sweeney picked up a 24 shot shutout overtime win. 

 

St. Lawrence Division

Forward: Emmitt Guest – Kingston Wranglers: Wranglers forward Emmitt Guest posted 5 points over 2 games. The forward netted 4 goals and dished out 1 assist. 

Defenseman: Troels Simonsen – Somang Hockey: Somang defenseman Troels Simonsen had a great showing as he added 3 assists in one game. 

Goaltender: Umberto Verdone – Ottawa Valley Centennials: Centennials netminder Umberto Verdone played great on Saturday. The netminder stopped 46 of 49 shots for a .939 SV%.
