Premier SOTW

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from October 13-19, 2025. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Alberta Division

Forward: Quintin Rose – Southern Alberta Mustangs: Mustangs forward Quintin Rose netted two goals on Friday and added an assist on Saturday’s game. 

Defenseman: Parker Ma – Southern Alberta Mustangs: Southern Alberta defenseman Parker Ma added two assists over two games. In each showing the Brooks, AB native added an assist. Parker has played in 4 games this year with 4 assists. 

Goalie: Ryan Rowley – Calgary Bandits: Bandits netminder Ryan Rowley backstopped a 16 shot shutout 5-0 win on Saturday against the Diamond Valley Rockies. 

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Dante Gallucci – New Jersey Renegades: Dante Gallucci netted a hat trick on Sunday evening, which included a power-play and short-handed goal. Gallucci has appeared in 9 games this season with 11 points. 

Defenseman: Brandon Eigner – New Jersey Renegades: Defenseman Brandon Eigner dished out two assists on Sunday for the Renegades. The New Jersey native has played in 9 games with 8 points this year. 

Goaltender: Brendon Eiger – New Jersey Renegades: Twin-Brother to Brandon Eigner, Brendon Eiger was fantastic between the pipes. The New Jersey born netminder stopped 61 of 62 shots in a 2-1 win over the Rockets, which was good for a .984 SV%. That win was also a first in net of Eigner’s USPHL career. 

 

Florida Division

Forward: Mike Poggi – Palm Beach Typhoon: Typhoon forward Mike Poggi had an outstanding showing where he totalled 4 points in one game. On Sunday’s 8-2 win, Poggi posted a goal and 4 assists. 

Defenseman: Xander Nikolas Atrymiak – Palm Beach Typhoon: Typhoon defenseman Xander Nikolas Atrymiak posted a power-play goal in Sunday night’s win. Xander has played in 11 games this season and has scored 3 goals. 

Goaltender: Lorenzo Frigerio – Palm Beach Typhoon: Palm Beach netminder Lorenzo Frigerio picked up a win on Sunday. The Segrate, Italy born netminder stopped 31 of 33 shots with a .939 SV% in a 8-2 win. 

 

Great Lakes Division

Forward: Giovanni Valentine – Columbus Mavericks: Over three games, Columbus Mavericks forward Giovanni Valentine posted 9 points. He started his offensive showing on Wednesday with a goal, Friday with a 2 goal and 3 assist night, then followed up on Saturday by adding 2 goals and 1 assist. This season, Valentine has played in 12 games and has recorded 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points. 

Defenseman: Jacob Galloway – Cincinnati Jr. Cyclones: Cyclones defenseman Jacob Galloway recorded 3 points in one game. The Kentucky native scored 2 goals and added an assist in a 8-2 win. Galloway has recorded 3 points over 10 games this season. 

Goaltender: Jack Miller – Toledo Cherokee: Toledo Netminder Jack Miller picked up a shutout win in a 8-0 final. The Allen Park, MI native stopped all 31 shots against the Battle Creek Kernels.  

 

Midwest Division

Forward: Mikhail Gorbunov – Fort Wayne Spacemen: Spacemen forward Mikhail Gorbunov recorded 8 points over three games. On Wednesday and Friday, Gorbunov added three assists in each game, and then on Saturday he scored a goal and an assist. Mikhail has played in 13 games this year with 16 points. 

Defenseman: Brody Luzbetak – Chicago Crush: Crush defender Brody Luzbetak added an assist on Sunday’s game. 

Goaltender: Danny Gurtner – Chicago Crush: Crush goaltender Danny Gurtner picked up a win after only allowing one goal. The Berwyn, IL native stopped 16 shots. 

 

New England Division

Forward: Fyodor Tarasov – Worcester Jr. Railers: Railer forward Fyodor Tarasov recorded 6 points over two games. Fyodor kicked off the week with a goal in his first showing, then followed up with 2 goals and 3 assists. 

Defenseman: Elie Groleau – Utica Jr. Comets: Utica defenseman Elie Groleau posted an assist in each showing over two games. Over 10 games this season, Groleau has recorded 8 points. 

Goaltender: Andrew Baumert – Utica Jr. Comets: Andrew Baumert turned away 30 of 31 shots in a 5-1 win on Sunday. His performance was good for a .968 SV%. 

 

North Division

Forward: Danylo Tsybulskyi – Minnesota Squatch: Over two games, Squatch forward Danylo Tsybulskyi recorded 9 points. On Wednesday, the forward scored 5 goals and dished out an assist, then followed up on Friday with a 3 point game that included a goal and 2 assists. 

Defenseman: Braeden Erickson – Minnesota Squatch: Minnesota Defenseman Braeden Erickson totalled 5 points. Wednesday Erickson added 3 assists, then on Friday and Sunday he added an assist. 

Goaltender: Pearse Mayrose – Minnesota Blue Ox: Blue Ox goalie Pearse Mayrose turned away 38 shots on net in a 2-1 win. The Minnetonka, MN native posted a .974 SV% in the victory and he is 5-0 on the year. 

 

Northwest Division

Forward: Kristian Halbych – McCall Smokejumpers: McCall forward Kristian Halych recorded 6 points in two games. On Friday’s 7-2 win, Halbych added two assists and then on Saturday’s 5-4 win, the forward had 4 points with 2 goals and 2 assists. 

Defenseman: Will Hellerman – McCall Smokejumpers: Smokejumpers Defenseman Will Hellerman posted 3 points in two games. The McCall, ID native added an assist on Friday and then a goal and an assist on Saturday. 

Goaltender: Matej Hronsky – Seattle Totem: Seattle netminder Matej Hronsky continued his stellar performance in net this weekend picking up a shutout win. In a 5-0 final vs Bremerton, Hronsky stopped all 29 shots he faced. He currently holds a 7-0 record, 1.86 GAA and a .934 SV% on the year. 

 

Pacific Division

Forward: Brian Erte – Fresno Monsters: Over three games Fresno Monsters forward Brian Erte recorded 7 points. After recording an assist on Friday, Erte went on to add a goal and 3 assists on Saturday and one goal and assist on Sunday. 

Defenseman: Felix Palla – Fresno Monsters: Monsters defenseman Felix Palla posted a point in all three games he played in. The Gyor, Hungary native added assists in back-to-back games and then scored a goal on Sunday’s matchup. 

Goaltender: Ralfs Kalnins – Henderson Force: Henderson netminder Ralfs Kalnins posted a shutout win on Friday. The Ogre, Latvia native stopped 29 shots in a 4-0 win against the Long Beach Bombers.

 

Southeast Division

Forward: Simon Eriksson – Potomac Patriots: Patriots Simon Eriksson recorded 5 points in two games. In Friday night’s game, Eriksson added 1 goal and 1 assist. The following night, Simon netted a goal and dished out 2 assists. 

Defenseman: Trevor Riggs – Potomac Patriots: Trevor Riggs posted 3 points in two games for the Patriots. Riggs added two assists on Friday, then added a goal on Saturday. 

Goaltender: Cole Currier – Potomac Patriots: Cole Currier was great in net for the Patriots. On Friday, Currier stopped 48 shots in a 6-1 win with a .980 SV%. 

 

St. Lawrence Division

Forward: Jeff White – Montreal Black Vees: Montreal Black Vees forward Jeff White lit up the scoresheet with 5 points. White posted a goal and dished out 4 assists in a 7-2 win. 

Defenseman: Troels Simonsen – Somang Hockey: Somang defenseman Troels Simonsen added 4 points to his resume over two games. On Friday, Simonsen handed out an assist then followed up on Saturday by adding 1 goal and 2 assists. 

Goaltender: Noah Cavallaro – Ottawa Valley Centennials: Centennials goaltender Noah Cavallaro was tested on Friday in a 7-2 loss. Despite the loss, Cavallaro was tried 60 times where he stopped 53 shots.
