The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its November Stars of the Month, recognizing standout performances from the month. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Atlantic

Forward: Artur Ovsepian – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: Artur Ovsepain led the Atlantic division in scoring over the month. Over 7 games, Ovsepain posted 22 points with 10 goals and 12 assists. 

Defenseman: Nolan Gentry – Red Bank Generals: Red Bank defenseman Nolan Gentry delivered big numbers for his squad during the month. Gentry played in 7 games where he tallied 12 points with 3 goals and 9 assists. 

Goalie: Logan Pastorius – Red Bank Generals: Generals goalie Logan Pastorius was perfect in November. Pastorius turned aside all 50 shots he faced over 3 games, earning 3 shutout victories over the month. 

 

Florida

Forward: Gino Indelicato – Florida Eels: Eels forward Gino Indelicato averaged 2 points per game over the month. Indelicato appeared in 5 games for the Premier squad where he tallied 10 points with 5 goals and 5 assists. 

Defenseman: Derrick Pedersen – Florida Eels: Eels defenseman Derrick Pedersen lit up the month of November with 12 points. Pedersen posted 2 goals and 10 assists, highlighted by a 4 point game with 1 goal and 3 assists. Derrick also had two other games during the month where he had 3 points. 

Goalie: Drew Osinga – Tampa Bay Juniors: In his lone showing in November, Tampa Bay Juniors goaltender Drew Osinga picked up a win. Osinga stopped 25 of 27 shots in an 11-2 Tampa win. Osinga’s performance was good for a .926 SV%. 

 

Great Lakes

Forward: Cameron Krause – Toledo Cherokee: Cherokee forward Cameron Krause had a fantastic month of November playing in 9 games. Krause added 17 points to his resume, with 8 goals and 9 assists. 

Defenseman: Jake Taylor – Metro Jets: Jets defender Jake Taylor put on a show in November where he played in 9 games. Taylor handed out 14 assists, which was good for 1.56 points/game. 

Goalie: Philip Hall – Metro Jets: Metro goaltender Philip Hall posted 4 wins over the month of November. Hall’s November performance was good for a .955 SV%, a .620 GAA, and had 1 shutout victory. 

 

Midwest

Forward: Noah Bodurka – MJDP: Metro Jets Development Program forward Noah Bodurka appeared in 13 games in November, posting 17 points. Bodurka netted 9 goals and added 8 assists. 

Defenseman: Charlie Domaracki – Chicago Cougars: Cougars defenseman Charlie Domaracki played in 8 games over November. Domaracki picked up 5 points with 3 goals and 2 assists. 

Goalie: Cameron Cyrus – MJDP: Metro Jets Development Program netminder Cameron Cyrus picked up 4 wins in November. Cyrus posted a 2.52 GAA and a .912 SV%. 

 

New England

Forward: Ayden Zugoni – Utica Jr. Comets: Utica Jr. Comets forward Ayden Zugoni totalled 14 points during November. Zugoni played in 8 games where he scored both 7 goals and had 7 assists. 

Defenseman: Owen Kneeland – Northern Cyclones: Cyclones defenseman Owen Kneeland appeared in 9 games in November. Kneeland posted 6 assists over the month. 

Goalie: Jacob Korte – Utica Jr. Comets: Utica Jr. Comets goalie Jacob Korte was great in November finishing the month with a 4-1 record. Over his 5 showings, Korte posted a 2.62 GAA and a .915 SV%. 

 

North

Forward: Felix Ahlstrand – Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings: Wisconsin Rapids forward Felix Ahlstrand was dominant for the Riverkings in November. In 7 games, Ahlstrand tallied up 24 points, scoring 10 goals and adding in 14 assists. 

Defenseman: Braenden Kerr – Minnesota Squatch: Prior to being called up to the NCDC’s Pueblo Bulls nearing the end of the month, Braeden Kerr was lights out for the Squatch’s defensive core. Kerr played in 7 games, where he scored 6 goals and handed out 7 assists. 

Goalie: Deaken Shaw – Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings: Riverkings goalie Deaken Shaw delivered a strong month of November, going a perfect 4-0 in his four appearances while providing steady, timely goaltending for his squad. Shaw posted a .907 save percentage and a 2.50 goals-against average, highlighted by a shutout performance on Nov. 7 and a .962 outing on Nov. 14. Even in high-volume games, including a 43-shot effort on Nov. 21, Shaw stood tall and helped his team secure key wins throughout the month.

 

Northwest

Forward: Roman Wolynec – Seattle Totems: Totem forward Roman Wolynec had a dominant showing in November. Wolynec appeared in 8 games and averaged 2.88 points per game. Wolynec scored 9 goals and added 14 assists for 23 points on the month. 

Defenseman: William Hagenmarck – Iron County Yeti: Yeti defenseman William Hagenmarck had himself a great month of November. Over 8 games played, Hagenmarck posted 15 points with 6 goals and 9 assists. 

Goalie: Yehor Khmara – Seattle Totems: Seattle goaltender Yehor Khmara picked up 3 wins in November. Khamara posted 2 shutout wins, a 1.50 GAA and a .943 SV% on the month. 

 

Pacific

Forward: Vertti Sakko – Fresno Monsters: Monsters forward Vertii Sakko averaged 2.5 points a game over the 6 he played in during the month of November. Sakko netted 3 goals, but sprinkled in 12 assists. 

Defenseman: Christian Yi – Ontario Jr. Reign: Ontario Jr. Reign defender Christian Yi was very productive last month, as he totalled 10 points in 7 games. The blue-liner scored a jaw-dropping 7 goals, plus added 3 assists. 

Goalie: Nicholas Perry – Ontario Jr. Reign: Ontario Jr. Reign goalie Nicholas Perry picked up 3 wins over November. Perry’s performance between the pipes was good for a 2.46 GAA and a .916 SV%. 

 

Southeast

Forward: Filipp Papshev – Charlotte Rush: Rush forward Filipp Papshev was sensational in November as he tallied 15 points over 8 games. Papshev found the back of the net 9 times, and added in 6 helpers. 

Defenseman: Trevor Riggs – Potomac Patriots: Patriots defenseman Trevor Riggs had a standout performance over the month. Riggs accounted for 8 points with 1 goal and 7 assists. 

Goalie: Lasse Sorensen – Charlotte Rush: Rush goalie Lasse Sorensen went 4-1 over November. Sorensen posted a 3.34 GAA and a .870 SV% throughout his November performance. 

 

St. Lawrence

Forward: Olivier Sirois – Montreal Black Vees: Montreal forward Olivier Sirois appeared in 10 games over the month. Sirois netted 3 goals, but dished out 13 assists for 16 points. 

Defenseman: Zachary Corriveau – Hawkesbury Knights: Zachary Corriveau was great from the blue line for the Knights over 5 games. Last month, the defenseman recorded 9 points with 2 goals and 7 assists. 

Goalie: Anthony Gervais – Hawkesbury Knights: Hawkesbury netminder Anthony Gervais picked up 3 wins in November. Gervais’ performance in the month was good for a 1.92 GAA and a .933 SV%.
