Boston Jr. Bruins
Location: Marlborough, MA | New England Sports Center
The Junior Bruins are entering a new chapter in their storied history. After years of developing talent and building one of the strongest junior hockey programs in New England, the organization is bringing its Premier team back to the NCDC for the 2025–26 season.
In 2019, the Jr. Bruins captured the league’s ultimate prize, the Dineen Cup. Now, playing out of the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts, the franchise is set to add another layer to its legacy of development, opportunity, and competitive excellence.
“We’re excited about our group,” said General Manager Mike Anderson. “There’s depth at all three positions and a really strong mix of guys who already have junior experience and some younger talent stepping in. Put together, it should make for a really fun season.”
That excitement comes with a clear philosophy. The Bruins are focused on developing players who can think the game quickly, play at high speed, and master the fundamentals. Just as important, the coaching staff wants their team to play with confidence.
“We want our players to feel comfortable making plays,” Anderson explained. “We’re not going to weigh them down with too many systems. That freedom makes us tough to play against, and it makes us excited to watch.”
With a proud past and a promising future, the Junior Bruins are once again ready to leave their mark on the NCDC stage.
