2024–25 Postseason: Did not qualify
The Boston Jr. Rangers are set for their second NCDC campaign after a tough but valuable introduction to the league last year. Despite finishing seventh in the New England Division, the Rangers gained key experience and showcased several NCAA-bound players in their debut season.
Head Coach and GM Rich DeCaprio is optimistic about the group taking shape for 2025–26. “We have a young group this year with not many returners at all,” he said. “We definitely are much bigger on the blue line, and offensively I think we have a combination of speed and skill. Our identity is unknown, but it will develop organically as the guys get to know each other.”
Physicality is also a point of emphasis. “We need to be much grittier than last year,” DeCaprio added. “We have the skill, but we weren’t physical last season. This year we are looking to have that in our game.”
The Rangers will look to play with pace, transition quickly, and rely on what DeCaprio believes could be “some of the best goaltending in the league.” With grit, speed, and structure as their cornerstones, the Rangers are aiming to climb the standings in Year 2.
