The NY Dynamo are entering an exciting new chapter after their recent acquisition of the Seacoast Spartans, signaling fresh energy, bold ambitions, and a renewed commitment to success.
The NY Dynamo have acquired the Seacoast Spartans and will relocate the team from Exeter, New Hampshire, to the Capital Ice Arena in Clifton Park, New York.
“I am very excited for the start of this year’s season,” said head coach and GM Brett Tryder. “We have a first class set up in Clifton Park and the Dynamo organization has put us in a position to succeed. It is a tough conference but I believe that we have the horses to compete with anyone in the NCDC.”
Though relocating a team, that always comes with challenges but Tryder is hopeful his team will come together and have a successful season.
“The challenge with any program is getting the right chemistry,” said Tryder. “There are plenty of players out there. Finding line combinations that make sense and making sure that the locker room is tight knit, is the goal every hockey season.”
In year one of having a new team, Tryder knows his team will play a competitive style of play night in and night out.
“I am hoping to have a heavy team,” said Tryder. “I am counting on having a team that competes hard and plays a physical style.”
Tryder believes his team is balanced from top to bottom and is expecting big things as they prepare to make a serious push this season.
“We look pretty even up and down the line-up,” said Tryder. “I am looking to Jack Fickenscher and Adam Godfrey to provide leadership. “I think that we are going to be the style team that takes goals where they can get them and I expect contributions up and down the line-up.”
