The Wolves are ready to hit the ice for the 2025-26 NCDC season with a roster that blends veteran leadership, promising newcomers, and a strong organizational culture. Head Coach and General Manager R.C. Lyke believes his group has the tools to take a major step forward, both in the division and across the league.
“I think we have a very strong core of returning players that know our expectations and identity, and that will help tremendously to drive our culture both on and off the ice,” said Lyke.
That core begins in net with the return of Sebastian Pribula (’05), one of the league’s top goalies last season, joined by Xavier Delisle (’07), an exciting young addition with QMJHL experience. On defense, Captain Harrison Kinne (’05) leads a battle-tested blue line featuring Drew McCandless (’05), Nico Pasquale (’05), and Cole Jackson (’06). New talent Jacksen Suttie (’08) is expected to draw plenty of attention as one of the youngest but most dynamic defensemen in the league.
Up front, the Wolves return proven scoring threats in Eric McHale (’05), Alec Alfieri (’05, Assistant Captain), Maddox Goudie (’05), and Connor Stokes (’05). They’re complemented by a wave of new firepower, including Dallas Glenn (’06), a big-bodied forward with scoring touch; Stryker Foster (’08), who impressed in WHL training camp; Chase Kerr (’07), captain of the Wolves’ U18 AAA squad; Czechia U17 National Team standout Tomas Pribyl (’07); and Markus Lunski (’06), another power forward rising from within the Wolves pipeline.
The Wolves were one of the league’s toughest teams last season, particularly on special teams, and Lyke is pushing his team to turn those efforts into even more offensive production.
“Last year we were a team that was extremely hard to play against and we were among the top in our division and the league in PK and PP all year,” he said. “We want to make sure we do a better job of making teams pay a price on the scoresheet when they make a mistake this season. We’ve increased our size, speed, physicality, toughness, and hockey IQ this offseason. We feel we are a team that will have the ability to compete not only for a division championship but a league championship as well.”
Fans following the Wolves this season should expect a relentless style built on pace, pressure, and compete level.
“We want to be a team that plays with speed and dictates the game with our physicality and our ability to make plays,” said Lyke. “We are a team that is extremely hard to play against that will out-compete and outwork you every night.”
As always, the Wolves’ culture will remain the heartbeat of the program.
“This group understands that our Wolves culture is built on Family and Loyalty and they have bought into that right away,” Lyke emphasized. “We are very excited about the group we have put together so far both on and off the ice.”
With returning veterans, high-upside newcomers, and a commitment to a hard-nosed, fast-paced identity, the Wolves enter the 2025-26 campaign with high expectations and championship ambitions.
