About The USPHL Elite

The USPHL Elite is the United States Premier Hockey League’s developmental junior league, an ideal starting point for younger junior-eligible players to start their junior careers with an eye towards advancement to higher levels of the USPHL (Premier and NCDC). Players in the USPHL Elite also pursue collegiate advancement.

  • The footprint is largely Eastern Seaboard and Midwest. Divisional alignments allow for lighter travel to keep the focus on player development.
  • All USPHL Elite teams are members of organizations that also have at least a USPHL Premier team as well, allowing for internal advancement. There were more than 300 call-ups to the USPHL Premier from the USPHL Elite in 2024-25.
  • A number of USPHL Elite teams are also part of National Collegiate Development Conference organizations. Players have a pathway to move from Elite to Premier to the NCDC during their junior career.
