NCDC Commitment Profile: NE Wolves Spicuzza commits to Framingham State Univ.

Zachary Spicuzza

New England Wolves forward Zachary Spicuzza is excited to announce his NCAA Division III commitment to Framingham State for the 2026-27 season.

Spicuzza, a native of Laconia, NH has been a member of the Wolves organization since he was 12 years old and they have really helped shape him into the player he is today. Last season playing in the EHLP, Spicuzza had a monster season putting up 80 points (22G, 58A) in 40 games. This year, he started off in the EHL with the Wolves before they made the transition to the NCDC. So far in nine games, Spicuzza has eight points.

“I have nothing but good things to say about the Wolves,” said Spicuzza. “I’ve been in the organization since I was twelve and haven’t had any regrets. I decided to sign for the 25-26 season because I know we have something good going here and it’s only going to get better.”

Spicuzza started talking to Framingham back in early December and right off the bat, he knew it was going to be a good fit for him.

He was not only drawn to hockey, but the academics as well as he knows that is a big part of the commitment process.

Before he gets to Framingham, it is important to him to keep growing his game to play at the college level.

“The part of my game that I will work on to make an impact at Framingham is my defensive game,” said Spicuzza. I need to be good defensively to limit scoring chances. I feel like I’m a very defensive player, so it’s super important that I keep working on it.”

Spicuzza wants to close out his chapter with the Wolves the best way he knows: playing good hockey and having fun.

“A few things I hope to accomplish by the end of the season are making the playoffs, building long lasting friendships and just having fun with my team,” said Spicuzza. “Playing junior hockey is very tough and sometimes you get away from the main goal, and that main goal is to have fun and play your best hockey.”

The NCDC congratulates Zachary Spicuzza, his family, the New England Wolves and Framingham State for his commitment.
