Two-year veteran of the West Chester Wolves forward Alec Alfieri is excited to announce his NCAA Division III commitment to Lake Forest College for the 2026-27 season.
Alfieri, a native of Denver, CO has spent the past two seasons playing for the Wolves and has enjoyed his time immensely. During the 2024-25 season, Alfieri tallied 17 points in 41 games. It was a no-brainer for him to come back for this season. In 39 games so far, Alfieri has put up 20 points (5G, 15A).
“The West Chester Wolves organization is top notch when it comes to development,” said Alfieri. “When you step foot in the facility, you are offered everything you need to grow as a player and person. You are treated with respect and loyalty. The coaching staff is world class, and there is no better place to develop in the NCDC.”
Alfieri first started communicating with the Lake Forest coaching staff in late December after they saw him play. They liked how he played with pace and his ability to make plays all over the ice.
Alfieri knew Lake Forest was a place he could thrive both athletically and academically and for the years to come after.
“I really liked the great athletic and hockey facilities offered at Lake Forest and the coaching staff’s message for the future,” said Alfieri. “Of course the academics are top notch, with many great connections after hockey is over.”
Before he takes his skills to the college level, Alfieri is hoping his Wolves team can make some noise as the playoffs are fastly approaching.
“This season we are hoping to clinch a playoff spot and make some noise if we can get in,” said Alfieri. “We have a great group of guys and our team can do some great things.”
The NCDC congratulates Alec Alfieri, his family, the West Chester Wolves and Lake Forest College for his commitment.
