NCDC Commitment Profile: West Chester’s Allman commits to Lake Forest College

West Chester Wolves forward Reece Allman is excited to announce his NCAA Division III commitment to Lake Forest College for the 2026-27 season.

Allman, who hails from Chicago, IL is in his first season with the Wolves and has been an offensive weapon for them. In 35 games played, Allman has 29 points (8G, 21A) and is constantly making his presence known on the ice. 

“West Chester has been very good to me and accepting of me as a player,” said Allman. “The organization has been nothing but class and professional during my time. I decided to come to West Chester in late September after careful consideration and many conversations. With the coaching staff willing to give me an opportunity to earn my role, there was nothing more I could ask for.”

Allman first started communicating with Lake Forest in early December after they came and watched him play at the Hitmen Showcase. Allman continued communicating through Christmas break with the coaches before visiting campus last month. He explained what the coaching staff likes about his game. 

“The coaching staff at Lake Forest liked my compete and ability to make plays under pressure and with speed,” said Allman. 

Allman liked the competitive nature of the school and that drove him to want to play for them.

“Lake Forest was very intriguing to me at first because of the caliber of school and the emphasis on culture and winning in D3’s hardest division,” said Allman.

Being committed is a huge weight lifted off Allman’s shoulders and now he can shift his focus to helping his team win down the stretch. 

“Now that I’m committed, all focus shifts to winning and building into playoffs,” said Allman. “With the ability in our locker room, I hope to make a deep run in the playoffs and shake things up.”
