South Shore Kings 8, Thunder Hockey Club 2
The South Shore Kings put together a dominant offensive performance, striking early and often on their way to an 8-2 victory. Multiple scorers contributed, highlighted by goals from Matt Lemay, London Kearney, Michael Sciabarra, Jake Owens, Brennan Cail, Eli Heinze, Alec Babineau, and Brennan Call. Thunder Hockey Club tallied twice, with Quinn Simmons and Takanobu Hiraga finding the net, but the Kings controlled the pace throughout.
Jersey Hitmen 3, Connecticut Jr. Rangers 1
The Jersey Hitmen earned a strong 3-1 win behind a steady attack fueled by Marty Magaletta, Marcus Hookong, and Derek Tremblay. Connecticut opened the scoring with Brycen Wood, but the Hitmen responded with three unanswered goals, closing the door defensively the rest of the way.
West Chester Wolves 4, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights 3
West Chester edged out a tight 4-3 battle, powered by goals from Emil Szepesi, Maddox Goudie, Harrison Kinne, and Chase Kerr. Wilkes-Barre Scranton mounted pressure with markers from Cameron O’Connell, Kinnick Kehoe, and Timur Naletov, but the Wolves’ third-period push sealed the win.
Woodstock NB Slammers 3, St. Stephen County Moose 0
Woodstock controlled play wire to wire, earning a 3-0 shutout with goals from Yan Krasavin, Lukas Holmgren, and Samuel Bohos. The Slammers’ structure and shot suppression kept St. Stephen off the board despite a 36-shot effort.
Boston Jr. Rangers 6, New York Dynamo 3
An explosive third period lifted the Jr. Rangers to a 6-3 victory. Nathaniel Boeckle, Gavin Parks, Rory Booth, Hayden Newman, Jacob Gelman, and Nicholas Kondub each struck for Boston. The Dynamo kept it close through two periods thanks to goals from Colton Shaver and Cole Kerr, but the Rangers pulled away late.
Universel Quebec 6, Northern Maine Pioneers 3
Universel Quebec rode a strong middle frame to a 6-3 win. Antoine Daoud, Tom Le Cars (two goals), Augustin Daoust-Lavin, Alexandre Al Haj, and Vincent Vachon powered the offense. Northern Maine answered with goals from Simon Ward, Matthew McCarron, and Kellen Matushak, but couldn’t slow down Universel Quebec’s pressure.
P.A.L. Junior Islanders 3, Mercer Chiefs 1
The Junior Islanders put forth a complete team effort in a 3-1 win, led by goals from Billy Collins, Aidan Holland, and Hayden Vonk. Jack Spiess scored the Chiefs’ lone goal early, but P.A.L. controlled the remainder of the game with strong possession and defensive play.
Universel Academy 2, Lewiston MAINEiacs 1 (OT)
Universel Academy claimed a tight overtime win on a clutch OT goal from Philippe Guay. Arthur Sevigny scored in regulation to match an early goal by Lewiston’s Jean-Felix Faupel. Both teams traded chances, but Universel prevailed with the extra-frame finish.
Casper Warbirds 4, Rock Springs Miners 2
Casper earned a solid 4-2 win with balanced scoring from Declan McMahon, Simon Fournier, Roddick Simons, and Isaac Berberena. Rock Springs responded with goals by Anderson Sandquist and Ryan Moise, but the Warbirds’ sustained puck control carried them to victory.
Ogden Mustangs 7, Pueblo Bulls 4
In a high-scoring showdown, Ogden powered to a 7-4 victory behind a strong offensive surge led by Reuben Clark, Jackson Walsh (two goals), Cooper Jacobson, Jiri Duda, and Billie Jacobson-Couch. Pueblo countered with markers from Marcus Jackson, Torran Origliano, Jaeger Wood, and G. Nolan, but Ogden’s depth proved too much.
Idaho Falls Spud Kings 3, Grand Junction River Hawks 2
The Spud Kings delivered a steady 3-2 win, receiving goals from Tyler Atchison, Kane Kennedy, and Hunter Whisenand. Grand Junction fought hard with goals by Tibor Nemeth and Harrison Browning, but Idaho Falls maintained the edge thanks to timely scoring and disciplined defensive play.
