Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 8, Mercer Chiefs 1
The Knights exploded offensively, scoring five times in the third period to pull away. Judah Wanner led the way with two goals, while Jackson Chicola, Arnaud Roberge, Oscar Goeckel, Liam Jackson, Connor Lawrence, and Caleb Rashleigh also found the back of the net. Mercer’s lone goal came from Jakub Hanzak. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton outshot Mercer 43-21.
P.A.L. Junior Islanders 4, West Chester Wolves 2
The Junior Islanders controlled the pace early and never trailed, earning a four-goal performance from four different scorers. Nico Bromley scored twice, while Chase Carkner and Samuel Tayloe added goals. West Chester received goals from Dmitrij Haberling and Kaden Julik. P.A.L. held a slight edge in shots, 34-31.
St. Stephen County Moose 5, Lewiston MAINEiacs 4 (SO)
The Moose erased an early deficit and completed the comeback in a shootout. Trevor Ponath scored twice, including the shootout tally, while Carter Clark and Hayden Anderson added goals. Lewiston jumped out to a 3-0 first-period lead behind two goals from Carson Doxsey and one from Dalton Pamenter. Daelen Hodgson also scored for Lewiston. Shots favored Lewiston 57-34.
Jersey Hitmen 4, Rockets Hockey Club 3
The Hitmen built a three-goal first-period lead and held on late. Marty Magaletta, Kyle Bernier, and Eric McHale all scored in the opening frame, with Derek Tremblay adding the eventual game-winner in the third. Rockets goals came from Jed Lake, Beckett Homlish, and Austin Polonoski. Jersey outshot Rockets 43-39.
Pueblo Bulls 9, Casper Warbirds 1
Pueblo dominated from the start with four goals in each of the first two periods. Brody Clarke led all scorers with a hat trick, while Quinn Metzger, Marcus Jackson, Gordon Guerrero, Jaeger Wood, Torran Oritgiano, and Robert Morrissey also scored. Casper’s lone goal came from Simon Fournier. Pueblo held a 46-37 shot advantage.
Ogden Mustangs 4, Rock Springs Miners 2
Ogden scored in each period to secure the win. Jackson Walsh and Cooper Jacobson gave the Mustangs an early lead, while Ryan Flaherty and Caleb Bendell added insurance. Rock Springs got third-period goals from Blake Couet and Cody Polumbus. Ogden outshot Rock Springs 55-34.
Idaho Falls Spud Kings 5, Grand Junction River Hawks 1
Idaho Falls broke the game open with a three-goal second period. Santino Canevari, Sam Grimaldi, and Bookie Warshaw all scored in the middle frame, while Hunter Whisenand and Andrew Schmidt added third-period goals. Isaiah Yates scored the lone goal for Grand Junction. Shots were even at 30-30.
