Thunder Hockey Club 4 vs. South Shore Kings 3 (SO)
Thunder HC battled back from a 3-0 first-period deficit to edge the Kings in a shootout. Mo Peng scored twice in the third, including the tying goal, while Maksim Ionkin also found the net. Eli Heinze and Jake Pomichter (2) scored early for South Shore.
Islanders Hockey Club 8 vs. Boston Dogs 2
Jason Johnson erupted for four goals and an assist to power the Islanders HC to a dominant win. Sebastian Kaminsky, Brendan Peck, and Cameron Stehle also scored. Tobias Vitek and Pete Moore tallied for the Dogs.
P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 2 vs. West Chester Wolves 1
Goals from Billy Collins and Will Henderson lifted the Jr. Islanders to a narrow win. Colin Daltwas scored the lone goal for West Chester in the second period.
Boston Jr. Bruins 1 vs. St. Stephen County Moose 0
The Jr. Bruins earned a shutout victory on the road, scoring a goal and holding strong defensively to blank the Moose in St. Stephen.
Mercer Chiefs 2 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 1
Nicholas Rockey tied the game in the second and Justin Ouellet netted the winner in the third as the Chiefs took a tight battle. Liam Jackson had the lone goal for the Knights.
Woodstock NB Slammers 4 vs. Northern Maine Pioneers 1
Joshua Forbes scored twice and Yanik Felesakis added one as the Slammers controlled play in Presque Isle. Ryley Callan capped the scoring, while E.J. Goveia had the only Pioneers goal.
Lewiston MAINEiacs 5 vs. Universel Quebec 3
Lewiston rallied with three third-period goals to grab the win. Aidan Palmeter scored twice, and Jan-Felix Faupel, Gabriel Braun, and Carson Doxsey each added markers. Viktors Klabis, Derek Petitpas, and Peter Kovac scored for Universel.
Springfield Pics 4 vs. Universel Academy 2
The Pics took an early lead and never trailed. Adam Botlo, Philipp Lehmann, Adam Palenik, and Justin Hooper each tallied. Noah Trempe and Philippe Guay scored for Universel Academy.
Ogden Mustangs 5 vs. Rock Springs Miners 1
Jiri Duda scored twice and added an assist as Ogden rolled past Rock Springs. Cooper Jacobson, Billie Jacobson-Couch, and Wyatt Sancibrian also found the net. Riley Nadell scored for the Miners.
Pueblo Bulls 6 vs. Utah Outliers 1
Benjamin Taylor netted a hat trick, and Jimmy Zeissel added two goals as the Bulls dominated their home opener. Landen Scherber also scored, while Anton Sollin broke the shutout bid for Utah.
Idaho Falls Spud Kings 3 vs. Grand Junction River Hawks 2 (OT)
Daniel MacLeish scored twice, including the overtime winner, to give Idaho Falls a dramatic victory. Owen Beyer added a third-period tally. Tai Kontrec and Sami Kallionkieli had goals for Grand Junction.
