Worcester Railers JHC 4, New York Dynamo 2
The Railers jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back as Noah Jimbo scored twice and Josh Erickson added a pair of tallies. Cole Kerr and Adam Godfrey cut into the deficit late for New York, but Worcester held firm for the win at Worcester Ice Center Gray.
Thunder Hockey Club 3, CT Chiefs North 0
Takanobu Hiraga’s first-period strike stood as the game-winner as Thunder blanked the Chiefs behind a full-team defensive effort. Connolly Stice added two goals — one in each of the final two frames — to secure the shutout win at JFK Memorial Coliseum.
South Shore Kings 3, Islanders Hockey Club 1
Felix-Antoine Laflamme opened the scoring and the Kings sealed it late behind third-period goals from Brennan Cail and Jake Kavanagh. Nick Argento netted the lone Islanders marker midway through the final frame.
Jersey Hitmen 3, Rockets Hockey Club 2
The Hitmen struck twice in the first and held off a Rockets push to grab the tight win. Emrick Gagnon and Dmitrij Haberling gave Jersey early control, while Riley Lephart’s second-period tally stood as the difference. Beckett Homlish and Zachary Wolf scored for the Rockets.
P.A.L. Junior Islanders 6, Mercer Chiefs 3
Luke Lazzaro powered the P.A.L. offense with two early goals, leading a six-goal night that saw contributions from Tomas Smetanka, Oliver Morris, Nico Bromley and Billy Collins. Jake Lauterstein and Constantin Humer were among the scorers for Mercer.
Utica Jr. Comets 2, Boston Junior Bruins 1
Utica rallied in the third behind quick strikes from Zach Groleau and Joshua Galizia to erase a 1-0 deficit and edge the Junior Bruins. Daniil Lesnichiy had Boston’s lone goal in the first period.
Idaho Falls Spud Kings 4, Utah Outliers 2
Tyler Atchison led the way with two goals and Owen Beyer and Daniel Macleish added singles as the Spud Kings pulled away in the third. Jett Carroll and Andrew Brubakken scored for Utah in the first two periods.
Lewiston MAINEiacs 5, Universel Quebec 3
A balanced attack lifted Lewiston, with Kevin Delaney, Korey Cardenas Aston, Vitalii Ulianov, Gabriel Braun and Carson Doxsey all finding the net. Universel’s late push included goals from Viktors Klabis and Derek Petitpas, but the MAINEiacs held on at The Colisée.
Ogden Mustangs 4, Casper Warbirds 3
Ogden stormed back with three goals in the third — from Jiri Duda, Cooper Jacobson and Logan Lambrecht — to overcome a resilient Warbirds squad. Jack Rytel, Colin Hazlett and William Rotar had the goals for Casper.
Grand Junction River Hawks 2, Pueblo Bulls 1
Sami Kallionkieli scored twice, including the game-winner early in the third, as Grand Junction edged Pueblo at River City Sportplex. Will Nolan tallied for the Bulls in the second period.
