Boston Dogs 0 @ Northern Cyclones 2: The Northern Cyclones defeated the Boston Dogs by a 1-0 final score. The game’s only goal came in the first period from Logan Petlansky for the Cyclones. Cyclones goaltender Max Pitts posted a shutout win stopping 34 shots.
Connecticut Jr. Rangers 2 @ Jersey Hitmen 3: The Jersey Hitmen added a late goal in regulation to edge the Connecticut Jr. Rangers by a score of 3-2. After a scoreless first period, Charlie Windwer posted a Jr. Rangers powerplay goal for a 1-0 lead. The Hitmen answered back with two goals to take the lead as Alex Helgeson and David Ambuhl scored. In the third, Egor Sapozhnikov scored to tie the game for the Rangers, 2-2. With time nearly expiring, Alex Whitlock scored for the Hitmen to take the win, 3-2.
Universel Academy 4 @ Thunder Hockey Club 2: Universal Academy edged Thunder Hockey Club 4-2. Universel led 1-0 after the 1st with Ludovic Lapointe-Perreault’s scoring. The 2nd saw Universel pull ahead 3-0 with goals from Olivier Touchette and Dominic Schnarr, before Thunder Hockey Club’s Kaden Armstrong scored. In the 3rd, Owen Khuong made it 3-2 for the Thunder, but Xavier Gagnon’s empty-netter sealed the win for Universel.
Universel Quebec 6 @ Woodstock NB Slammers 4: Universel Quebec dominated the Woodstock Slammers 6-4, with consistent scoring across all periods. Quebec jumped ahead early with goals from Derek Petitpas and Gabriel Boivin in the 1st, while Brody Irvine replied for the Slammers. The 2nd saw Quebec extend their lead with Olivier Dubord and Vincent Vachon, countered by Thunders’ Ryley Callan, to make the score 4-2. In the 3rd, Gabriel Boivin got the hat-trick on the night, sealing the win for Quebec, despite late Slammers goals from Brandon Meyers and Jackson Shaddick for a 6-4 final.
Boston Jr. Bruins 1 @ Lewiston MAINEiacs 2: The Lewiston MAINEiacs won in shootout fashion against the Boston Jr. Bruins, 2-1. Both of the game’s goals came in the second period with Boston’s Simon Mateas and Lewiston’s Adam Sawicki for a 1-1 game. The MAINEiacs were successful in the shootout to take the win 2-1.
Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights 3 @ Rockets Hockey Club 4: The Rockets Hockey Club edged the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights 4-3 in a shootout. The Rockets dominated the 1st period with three goals from Matt Kymer, Brady Wilson, and Jakub Kristek, leading 3-0. The Knights added one back with Timur Naletov in the 1st for a 3-1 score. In the second, the Knights added another goal with Timur Naletove to get within a goal, 3-2. In the third period, Seth Barne netted a late goal that would force overtime and then a shootout where the Rockets would win, 4-3.
Ogden Mustangs 6 @ Casper Warbirds 1: The Ogden Mustangs delivered an impressive 6-1 victory over the Casper Warbirds. The Mustangs opened up the scoring in the first period with goals from Liam Sheward and Logan Lambrecht for a 2-0 score. In the second period, Billie Jacobson-Couch extended the Ogden lead, 3-0. Later in the period Arvid Haggstom scored for Casper, 3-1. In the third period it was all Ogden as the Mustangs scored three goals with Liam Sheward, Wyatt Sancibrian and Reuben Clark for a 6-1 final.
Grand Junction River Hawks 2 @ Rock Springs Miners 1: A strong third period sent the Grand Junction River Hawks over the Rock Springs Miners by a score of 2-1. The second period saw Noah Lasker get the Miners on the scoresheet, 1-0. In the third, Kasper Pohjala and Sami Kallionkieli scored for the 2-1 final.
