Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights 5, Connecticut Junior Rangers 1
Wilkes-Barre Scranton pulled away with a big second period to earn a 5-1 victory over the Connecticut Junior Rangers. Connor Lawrence opened the scoring in the second before Rocco Luciano and Timur Naletov added goals to give the Knights control. Kinnick Kehoe scored twice in the third to cap the win, while Corbin Gephart recorded the lone goal for Connecticut.
New York Dynamo 4, Springfield Pics 1
After a scoreless first period and a lone Springfield goal in the second from Jacob Carey, New York erupted in the third period with four unanswered goals. William McDonald started the rally before Thomas Pisano, Ludovick Dussault and Timothy Russell all found the back of the net to secure the comeback win.
P.A.L. Junior Islanders 2, Jersey Hitmen 1 (OT)
The Junior Islanders edged the Hitmen in overtime in a tightly contested matchup. Michael Papaspyros scored in the second period for P.A.L., while Max Rutkowski tied the game for Jersey late in the third. Shawn Swavely netted the overtime winner to lift the Islanders.
Northern Cyclones 7, Universel Academy 4
The Northern Cyclones used a big third period to pull away for a 7-4 victory over Universel Academy. Riley Casey and Taylor Casey scored in the opening period before Zac Goldfain added another in the second. Logan Petlansky, Aidan Gonzalez, Noah Tano and Cooper Caby all scored in the third to seal the win. Bauer Genest, Tristan Frizado, Noah Trempe and Anthony Roy scored for Universel.
Rockets Hockey Club 3, Mercer Chiefs 2 (SO)
Rockets HC earned the extra point in a shootout after the teams battled to a 2-2 tie through regulation and overtime. Beckett Homlish and Maksym Pastukh scored in the first period for Rockets, while Mercer answered with goals from Brennan Cail and Nicholas Rockey. Rockets secured the win in the shootout.
New England Wolves 4, St. Stephen County Moose 1
The Wolves controlled the game with a steady offensive effort to defeat St. Stephen County 4-1. Philippe Lepore scored twice while Emils Terlins and Charles Etienne-Roy also added goals. Hayden Anderson scored the Moose’s lone goal in the second period.
Northern Maine Pioneers 3, Woodstock Slammers 2 (SO)
Northern Maine edged Woodstock in a shootout after a tightly contested game. Thomas Leverett and Alex Fiore scored for the Pioneers in regulation, while Bauer Arbeau and Samuel Bohos scored for the Slammers. Northern Maine ultimately secured the win in the shootout.
Lewiston MAINEiacs 6, CT Chiefs North 1
Lewiston delivered a dominant performance to earn a 6-1 victory. Jack Freiser scored twice while Vitalii Ulianov added two goals of his own. Nicky Johnson and Len-Thomas Wright also scored for the MAINEiacs. Conner Boulay recorded the lone goal for CT Chiefs North.
Idaho Falls Spud Kings 4, Rock Springs Miners 2
Idaho Falls used a strong second period to take control and defeat Rock Springs 4-2. Camden Cunningham, Ronald Wade and Brayden Olsen all scored in the middle frame before Sam Grimaldi added a third-period goal. Drayton Lasker and Riley Nadell scored for the Miners.
Grand Junction River Hawks 4, Utah Outliers 3 (SO)
Grand Junction picked up a shootout victory after the teams finished regulation tied 3-3. Isaiah Yates opened the scoring in the first before Joey Ziska and Ivan Janak scored in the second. Utah responded with goals from Jonas Eide Pettersen, Zachary Palik and Tyler Gudjonson, but the River Hawks secured the extra point in the shootout.
