NCDC Stars of the Week | Dec. 8-14, 2025

The National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from December 8-14,  2025.Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Reece Allman – West Chester Wolves: West Chester forward Reece Allman posted 6 points over 3 games. Allman added 2 goals and 4 assists, plus a power-play goal and a game winner. 

Defenseman: Alex Helgeson – Jersey Hitmen: Alex Helgeson tallied 5 points for the Hitmen over 2 games. Helegeson netted 2 goals and dished out 3 assists. 

Goalie: Kasen Mainberger – West Chester Wolves: Kasen Mainberger was a force between the pipes for the Wolves, going 2-0, including a shutout, over the weekend. Mainberger picked up a win on Friday as he turned aside 31 shots on net, then did not allow a goal on Saturday, stopping 32 shots. His performance was good for a .945 SV% and a 2.5 GAA. 

Rookie: David Ambuhl – Jersey Hitmen: Hitmen rookie forward Daivd Ambuhl posted 5 points to his resume over 2 games. Ambuhl netted 2 goals and added 3 assists. 

 

Mountain Division

Forward: Benjamin O’Leary – Pueblo Bulls: Bulls forward Benjamin O’Leary appeared in 2 games over the week where he recorded 3 points. O’Leary netted 2 goals plus an assist. 

Defenseman: Leo Burns – Ogden Mustangs: Ogden defenseman Leo Burns was great over the two games he played in. Burns added 2 assists, while keeping a +7 rating over those two games. 

Goalie: Dilans Birkans – Ogden Mustangs: Mustangs netminder Dilans Birkans posted a shutout victory on Saturday. Birkins stopped 20 shots in a 4-0 win against Casper for his first of the year. 

Rookie: Hayden Demaso – Pueblo Bulls: Pueblo goalie Hayden Demaso posted a shutout victory on Saturday. Demaso turned aside 41 shots on his way to his 1st shutout of his NCDC career. 

 

New England Division

Forward: Eli Heinze – South Shore Kings: Kings forward Eli Heinze racked up 6 points over 2 games. Heinze added a goal and 4 assists on Wednesday, then added an assist on Saturday. Heinze has played in 27 games this season, where he has totalled 32 points. 

Defenseman: Matthew O’Connor – Boston Dogs: Dogs defenseman Matthew O’Connor tallied 2 points in 1 game. O’Connor scored a goal and dished out an assist for the Dogs on Wednesday. 

Goalie: Antoine LaChance – Springfield Pics: Springfield Pics netminder Antoine LaChance put together a strong two-start stretch in net, backstopping his team to back-to-back wins while handling a steady workload. He stopped 53 of 59 shots across the two games, finishing 2–0 with a 3.00 GAA and .898 save percentage. 

Rookie: Brendan Keaveney – South Shore Kings: South Shore rookie forward Brendan Keaveney tallied 3 points over 2 games. Keaveney added 2 points with a goal and an assist on Wednesday. He followed up adding an assist on Saturday’s game.
