NCDC Stars Of The Week | March 9-15, 2026
The National Collegiate Development Conference has announced its Division Stars Of The Week for games played March 9-15, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.
Atlantic Division
Forward: Derek Tremblay, Jersey Hitmen — Tremblay made the most of his lone game of the week, posting two goals and one assist for three points. He also scored one power-play goal and added a game-winning goal.
Defenseman: Kyle Bernier, Jersey Hitmen — Bernier recorded two points in one game, scoring once and adding an assist from the blue line. He was one of two Jersey defensemen to post a multi-point outing in the Hitmen’s win.
Goalie: Alessandro Capano, Rockets Hockey Club — Capano went 1-0-0 in two appearances, stopping 68 of 70 shots for a .971 save percentage and a 0.97 goals-against average. His strong week helped anchor the Rockets defensively.
Rookie: Dallas Glenn, West Chester Wolves — Glenn registered three points in two games on two goals and one assist. He also added a power-play goal as part of an efficient offensive week for the Wolves rookie.
Mountain Division
Forward: Kasper Pohjala, Grand Junction River Hawks — Pohjala posted six points in just two games, scoring one
goal and adding five assists. He averaged 3.00 points per game for the week and also scored once on the power play.
Defenseman: Tibor Nemeth, Grand Junction River Hawks — Nemeth recorded three assists in two games from the blue line. He helped drive Grand Junction’s offense from the back end with a 1.50 points-per-game week.
Goalie: Dilans Birkans, Ogden Mustangs — Birkans went 2-0-0 in two starts, turning aside 70 of 73 shots for a .959 save percentage and 1.50 goals-against average. He also posted one shutout in a standout week for Ogden.
Rookie: Simon Fournier, Casper Warbirds — Fournier put up four points in three games from the back end, scoring once and adding three assists. His offensive production led all rookie defensemen among the winners this week.
New England Division
Forward: Jack Edwards, Northern Cyclones — Edwards led all NCDC skaters in scoring for the week with eight points in three games, scoring six goals and adding two assists. Two of his goals were power-play tallies, and two stood as game-
winners.
Defenseman: Bauer Genest, Universel Academy Sherbrooke — Genest posted six points in three games from the blue line, scoring once and adding five assists. He also recorded a power-play goal while averaging two points per game for the week.
Goalie: Matteo Mueller, Worcester Railers JHC — Mueller was flawless in two starts, going 2-0-0 while stopping all 36 shots he faced. He finished the week with a 1.000 save percentage, a 0.00 goals-against average, and one shutout.
Rookie: Kale Bergante, South Shore Kings — Bergante recorded five points in three games on three goals and two assists. He finished among the top rookie scorers of the week while helping drive the Kings’ offense.
