Day 3 of pool play at the 2026 USPHL Elite Nationals wrapped up on Friday, March 27, at the Ice Vault in Wayne, NJ. Six teams entered the day with hopes of advancing to the semifinal round on Saturday, March 28.

Following the final games of pool play, four teams remain: the Montreal Knights, Fort Wayne Spacemen, Tampa Bay Juniors, and Carolina Jr. Hurricanes.

 

Game Recaps

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 3, Northern Cyclones 1
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights earned a 3-1 win over the Northern Cyclones, scoring once in each period to stay in control throughout. Camden Adams led the way with two goals, while Francis Gauvin added the opener. Northern’s lone goal came in the second, but they couldn’t close the gap.

Montreal Knights 4, Fort Wayne Spacemen 2
The Montreal Knights picked up a 4-2 victory over the Fort Wayne Spacemen to finish a perfect 3-0 run in pool play and secure the top spot in the standings. Montreal scored in all three periods, with Nicholas Panayotidis leading the way with two goals. Fort Wayne stayed within reach early, but Montreal pulled away in the second and held on the rest of the way.

Tampa Bay Juniors 7, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes 4
The Tampa Bay Juniors used a massive second period to defeat the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes, 7-4. After trailing 3-0 in the first, Tampa Bay responded with six goals in the second to flip the game. Reilly Faucher scored twice in the win, while Carolina couldn’t recover after the surge.

  3. Tampa Bay Juniors — 2-1-0-0, 5 pts
