Mercer Chiefs 4, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 0
The Mercer Chiefs put together a complete effort to earn a 4-0 shutout over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Justin Ouellet opened the scoring, with Tyler Rothstein, Nicholas Rockey, and Jacob Prud’homme adding goals as Mercer pulled away. The Chiefs outshot the Knights 40-32 in the win.
Rock Springs Miners 4, Casper Warbirds 1
Rock Springs jumped out early with three first-period goals and never looked back in a 4-1 win against Casper. Charlie Grant, Adan Kostanian, and Alexander Raskin all scored in the opening frame, with Raskin adding a second later. Casper’s lone goal came from Charles Cronin.
Utah Outliers 5, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 2
The Utah Outliers controlled the pace throughout in a 5-2 victory over Idaho Falls. Utah built a 4-1 lead through two periods behind goals from Thomas Enrietto, Charles Sorrick, Luke Goldberg, and Magzhan Sagadiev. Jett Carroll added a third-period goal to seal it.
Ogden Mustangs 6, Pueblo Bulls 1
Ogden delivered a dominant performance in a 6-1 win over Pueblo. Six different goals powered the Mustangs, including a multi-goal effort from Thomas Fetterman. Ogden outshot Pueblo 39-32 and pulled away with three goals in the third period.
