Cyclones Showcase Day 2 wraps up, and three non-showcase games come to a close on Friday night across the USPHL Elite
Cyclone Showcase
Gatineau CU 0, Islanders Hockey Club 3
Islanders HC scored three straight from Aiden Rodkey, Zander Green, and James Bradshaw. Gatineau out-shot IHC 22–3, but the Islanders made their chances count.
Hershey Cubs 2, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 3
Northern Cyclones 1, P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 0 (SO)
The Cyclones earned a 1–0 shootout win after a scoreless regulation and OT. Shots were 40–16 in favor of the Cyclones.
Gatineau CU 4, South Shore Kings 0
Gatineau struck for four goals in the first period and closed out a shutout win, out-shooting South Shore 28–12.
Montreal Knights 7, Connecticut Jr. Rangers 3
Montreal goals came from Michael Funaro (2), Vincent Scalzo, Pietro Omobono, Zack L’Ecuyer, Nicholas Panayotidis, and Victor Leustean. Connecticut’s offense was a hat trick from Jackson Milne.
Non-Showcase Games
Metro Jets Elite 8, Chicago Cougars 1
Metro Jets Elite scored eight times, with goals from Jayson Shores, Dimitry Aksenov, Graysen LaPrise, Ronnie Lubbers, Grady Smith (2), Connor Wheeler, and Jarrett LaGrow. Nathan Galvan scored for Chicago.
Tampa Bay Juniors 13, Typhoon Hockey Club 2
Tampa Bay got multi-goal efforts from Logan Slezak and Tanner Vance, plus scoring from Jonathan Terho, Jason McDonald, Yoshin Takahara, Riley Furbeck, Zason Clark, Colin Lefebvre, Reece Smock, and others. Ryan Craft Jr. scored both goals for Typhoon HC.
Chicago Prospect Stars 10, Chicago T-Rex 5
Prospect Stars goals came from Brody Luzbetak, Brandon Herschbach, Connor Edwards, Ramsey Paullo (2), Joseph Bledsoe, Giovanni Rizzo, Alex Yakimenka, and Miles Goldman. T-Rex scorers were Niko Dougan, Caleb Lind, Konstantin Yurevich, Michael Sauer, and Vincent Cernentano.
