The Knights pushed back with goals from Johnathan Yeates and two from Colin Evans but could not complete the comeback.

The Decatur Blaze earned a 2-0 shutout win over the Red River Spartans. Sasha Zarichnyy scored in the first period before Daniel Zlochevsky added an insurance goal in the second as Decatur held Red River scoreless.

Carolina Junior Hurricanes 5, Charlotte Rush 1
The Carolina Junior Hurricanes powered past the Charlotte Rush with a 5-1 victory. Jacob Kuhn and Lucas Tremlett scored early for Carolina before Colby Markham netted two goals and Patrick Stevens added another. Ian Weber scored the lone goal for Charlotte.

Hershey Cubs 3, Connecticut Junior Rangers 2
The Hershey Cubs edged the Connecticut Junior Rangers 3-2. Jeremy Drolet and Eian Robinson gave Hershey an early lead in the first period before Gabriel Cote Legault added another in the second. Connecticut goals from Arcturus Marco-Schappa and Thomas Neenan made it close, but Hershey held on for the win.

Fort Wayne Spacemen 3, Chicago Crush 1
The Fort Wayne Spacemen scored three third-period goals to defeat the Chicago Crush 3-1. Tyson Finefrock, Nicolas Cheeney, and Hayden Stratman each scored in the final frame to complete the comeback after Chicago’s Giovanni Rizzo opened the scoring in the first period.
