Universel Academy 2 vs. South Shore Kings 5
The South Shore Kings defeated Universel Academy by a final score of 5-2. South Shore jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals from Jake Pomichter and Jake Owens. Universel’s Anthony Roy responded with two tallies to tie the game at 2-2. In the second period, Owens struck again to put the Kings back on top. In the third, Brendan Keaveney and Eli Heinze added insurance markers to seal the 5-2 win. The Kings have now extended their streak to 6 wins in a row. 

Rockets Hockey Club 2 vs. Jersey Hitmen 3 (OT)
After a scoreless first period, the Rockets broke through with a goal from Beckett Homlish. The Hitmen answered back with Riley Lephart to even the score. Late in the second, Trey Dionne gave the Rockets a 2-1 edge. In the third, Ryan Shea tied it up 2-2, forcing overtime. In the extra frame, Charles Driscoll scored the winner for the Hitmen.

Northern Cyclones 1 vs. Islanders Hockey Club 5
The Islanders jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period with goals from Jack Browning and Troy Hayes. Max Stranton answered for the Cyclones to cut the deficit to 2-1. In the second, Liam Normann extended the Islanders’ lead, and in the third, Cameron Fahey and Normann struck again to close out a 5-1 victory.

Universel Quebec 4 vs. CT Chiefs North 3

P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 2 vs. Mercer Chiefs 1
The Jr. Islanders got on the board early with Shawn Swavely scoring in the first period. Swavely added his second of the night in the middle frame to make it 2-0. In the third, Jacob Prud’homme scored late for the Chiefs, but the Jr. Islanders held on for the 2-1 win.

New York Dynamo 2 vs. Utica Jr. Comets 5

Utah Outliers 2 vs. Grand Junction River Hawks 6
Utah started strong with back-to-back goals from Melvin Oredsson and Zachary Palik for a 2-0 lead. Rayne Walsh cut the deficit late in the first for Grand Junction. The second period belonged to the River Hawks, who scored four unanswered goals from Edvards Eglitis, Miran Janezic, Kasper Pohjala, and Brayden Boucher to go up 5-2. In the third, Boucher added his second of the night to cap a 6-2 win.

Ogden Mustangs 3 vs. Idaho Falls Spud Kings 4 (SO)
Andrew Schmidt opened the scoring for Idaho Falls in the first. In the second, Liam Waugh tied it for Ogden before Leo Mantenuto restored the Spud Kings’ lead. In the third, Billie Jacobson-Couch netted the equalizer for the Mustangs to send the game into a shootout, where Idaho Falls prevailed.

Casper Warbirds 1 vs. Pueblo Bulls 3
After a scoreless first, Jimmy Zeissel gave Pueblo the lead in the second. The Bulls extended their advantage in the third with goals from James Monks II and Brody Clarke. Jack Rytel scored late for Casper, but Pueblo secured the 3-1 victory.
