The National Collegiate Development Conference congratulates all of the members of the New England All-Division Second Team. The New England Division had two All-Division teams due to including eight or more teams (nine in 2024-25). The First and Second All-Division selections were voted in by the division’s coaches.

Forwards

Braxton Powers, Islanders Hockey Club

Powers (‘04/Raleigh, N.C.) was named the MVP and Forward of the Year for the New England Division in this, his fourth NCDC season. Powers finished fourth overall in league scoring, with 32 goals and 36 assists for 68 points. After originally joining the IHC in 2021-22, Powers has broken into the all-time NCDC Top 10 in scoring with 64 goals and 68 assists for 132 points in 149 games. He is fourth all-time in goals, and he will take this complete game to the University of New England in 2025-26.

Will Rassier, South Shore Kings

Rassier (‘04/Princeton, N.J.) returned for his second season in the NCDC, but in a new home with the Kings. This year, Rassier was the early leading scorer in the league and remained near the top of the leaderboard throughout the season, finishing seventh with 30 goals and 33 assists for 63 points. The Wesleyan University recruit didn’t let up during the Kings’ long postseason that featured their third straight trip to a championship game, registering 11 points in 11 playoff games. Rassier finished his career with a 43-43-86 line in 83 regular season games and 15 points in 12 career playoff games.

Daniel Urban, Utica Jr. Comets

Urban (‘04/Orchard Park, N.Y.) is another success story of returning to their team of 2023-24 and improving dramatically year over year, as Urban pushed his points total from 21 last season to 60 this year, putting him in a tie for 11th in league scoring. Urban finished his career with exactly 100 regular season games played and he put up a 30-51-81 line during that time, good for fourth in Jr. Comets NCDC scoring history. Urban is committed to Skidmore College for the 2025-26 season.

Defensemen:

Jason Zaccari, South Shore Kings

Zaccari (‘05/Santa Ana, Calif.) was named the NCDC New England Defenseman Of The Year, having helped the Kings yet again reach the Dineen Cup Final, following his and the Kings’ 2024 victory. This year, Zaccari scored eight goals and added 35 assists for 43 points in 48 games. A Trinity College recruit, Zaccari scored a total of 78 points in 97 regular season games, plus 10 points in 23 playoff contests. He is the NCDC Kings’ all-time leading scorer among defensemen, and fifth overall among all-time Kings skaters in the league.

Thierry Lizotte, Northern Cyclones

Lizotte (‘04/St-Francois, Que.) closed out a very strong two-season career for the Cyclones, finishing this season with a 6-20-26 line in 53 games, as he helped lead the Cyclones to the New England Division playoff championship and the Dineen Cup Championship Series. A SUNY-Plattsburgh commit, Lizotte put in two strong seasons with the Cyclones and finished with 48 points in 97 games, good for fifth all-time among Cyclones NCDC blueliners.

Goaltender

Beau Lane, South Shore Kings

From the moment he showed up in Foxboro last November, Lane (‘04/Pembroke, Mass.) was a massive contributor to the Kings’ success, as they would eventually go on to win their first Founders Cup as NCDC regular season champions. Lane was named the New England Division Goaltender Of The Year and also committed to join Thierry Lizotte at SUNY-Plattsburgh. During the regular season, he registered a 16-5- record with two shutouts, finishing in the top 10 league-wide for wins. He also registered a 2.46 GAA and a .913 save percentage, ahead of the playoffs. In the postseason, he was second in goals against average and save percentage at 1.81 and .945, respectively.
