USPHL Premier Final Buzzer: Sept. 25-27
The USPHL Premier continued its 2026-27 season with 49 games played across the league from Friday through Sunday.
Friday, Sept. 25
Boston Jr. Rangers 10, Connecticut Junior Rangers 2
Jason Starr recorded a hat trick as the Boston Jr. Rangers scored five times in the opening period and defeated Connecticut, 10-2. Elliott Guevin scored twice for Boston, while Dominic Powell supplied both Connecticut goals.
Coral Springs Jr. Cats 9, Florida Eels 1
Darius Bilotta scored five goals to lead Coral Springs past the Florida Eels, 9-1. The Jr. Cats scored four times in the first period and added three more in the third, while Kyler Bergman scored for Florida.
Toledo Cherokee 5, Metro Jets 4 (SO)
Toledo earned a 5-4 shootout victory over the Metro Jets after both teams scored twice in the third period. Nolan Fischer, Nick Vantieghem, Jamison Rose and Liam Martin scored during regulation for the Cherokee, while Clovis Gamelin scored twice for Metro.
Florida Junior Blades 4, Florida Surge 3
The Florida Junior Blades edged the Florida Surge, 4-3, after building a 2-1 lead in the opening period. Lucas Bruce, Ethan Smith, Zeke Fields and Gabriel Losavio scored for the Blades.
Utica Jr. Comets 5, South Shore Kings 1
Jack Carpenter and Jake Hill scored twice apiece as Utica defeated the South Shore Kings, 5-1. Jacob Dubois added the Comets’ fifth goal, while Samuel Schelling scored for South Shore.
Chicago Crush 4, MJDP 2
Jason Peshenko and Joshua Yeates each scored twice to lead the Chicago Crush to a 4-2 victory over MJDP. Chicago broke a 1-1 tie with three goals in the third period.
Santa Clarita Lakers 4, San Diego Sabers 1
Riley Richards scored twice as Santa Clarita defeated San Diego, 4-1. Matthew Hague and Michael Park also scored for the Lakers, who finished with 68 shots.
Charlotte Rush 6, Red River Spartans 1
Chase Welton scored twice and four additional Charlotte players found the net in a 6-1 victory over Red River. The Rush carried a 4-1 advantage into the third period before adding two more goals.
Boston Jr. Terriers 6, New England Wolves 5 (OT)
Jason Souza scored in overtime to lift the Boston Jr. Terriers past the New England Wolves, 6-5. Jordan Rancourt scored twice for Boston, while Sebastien Puzynikov recorded two goals for New England.
Somang Hockey 5, New York Dynamo 3 (SO)
Somang Hockey earned a 5-3 shootout victory after New York rallied to tie the game during the third period. Mikael Gareau, Willmer Gustavsson and Mikel Laperriere scored in regulation for Somang, while Tanner Hamilton scored twice for the Dynamo.
St-Lazare Avalanche 6, Ottawa Valley Centennials 1
Tyler Bruno scored twice as St-Lazare defeated Ottawa Valley, 6-1. The Avalanche opened a 4-0 lead through two periods before adding two more goals in the third.
Chestermere Mustangs 8, Calgary Bandits 3
Telgen Leibelt and Tyler Huston each scored twice to power Chestermere to an 8-3 victory over Calgary. The Mustangs scored four times in the third period to pull away. Calgary goaltender Matteo Castella turned aside an outstanding 104 shots despite the loss.
Bremerton Sockeyes 8, Iron County Yeti 4
Logan Mese and Alexander Hufnagel each scored twice as Bremerton defeated Iron County, 8-4. The Sockeyes scored seven times across the opening two periods to take control.
Long Beach Bombers 8, Rogue Valley Royals 0
Lucas Audisio and Ronan Adomitis each scored twice as Long Beach shut out Rogue Valley, 8-0. The Bombers scored four times in the second period and finished with 56 shots.
Saturday, Sept. 26
Charlotte Rush 7, Red River Spartans 4
Charlotte scored five times in the second period to defeat Red River, 7-4. Alexander Harwell scored twice for the Rush, who completed a two-game weekend sweep of the Spartans.
Tampa Bay Juniors 13, Typhoon Hockey Club 3
Riley Furey scored four goals as Tampa Bay powered past Typhoon, 13-3. Vincent Bonanno and Chandler Moore added two goals apiece for the Juniors, who scored seven times in the second period.
Coral Springs Jr. Cats 11, Florida Surge 1
Chase Shoats recorded a hat trick as Coral Springs defeated the Florida Surge, 11-1. The Jr. Cats scored five goals in each of the opening two periods.
South Shore Kings 3, Utica Jr. Comets 2 (SO)
The South Shore Kings earned a 3-2 shootout victory over Utica after the teams finished regulation tied at two. Olin Jackson and Garrett Sager scored for South Shore, while Tyler Moore and James Law found the net for Utica.
Metro Jets 4, Chicago Crush 0
The Metro Jets received goals from Clovis Gamelin, Trevor Reed, William Smith and Cameron Staskowski in a 4-0 shutout of Chicago. Metro carried a 3-0 advantage into the third period.
Cincinnati Cyclones 6, Flint Icelanders 1
Jace Vandersham scored twice as Cincinnati defeated Flint, 6-1. The Cyclones opened a 3-0 lead in the first period and added two more goals in the third.
Yorktown Admirals 2, Charleston Colonials 1 (OT)
Maximus Bogatis scored in overtime to lift Yorktown past Charleston, 2-1. Filip Hudziak also scored for the Admirals, while Colton Peters provided the Colonials’ goal.
Carolina Junior Hurricanes 4, Potomac Patriots 3 (OT)
Jacob Kuhn completed a hat trick with the overtime winner as Carolina edged Potomac, 4-3. The Hurricanes erased a 3-2 deficit with Kuhn’s third-period equalizer before he ended the game in overtime.
Chicago T-Rex J18 5, Danville Iron 0
Jorge E. Piraquive scored twice as Chicago T-Rex J18 shut out Danville, 5-0. Chicago scored twice in the second period and added three more in the third.
Somang Hockey 4, Montreal Black Vees 2
Maverick Houle recorded a hat trick to lead Somang Hockey past Montreal, 4-2. Somang scored three times in the second period to take control.
Jersey Hitmen 5, New Jersey Renegades 4 (OT)
Jack Sheehan scored his second goal of the game in overtime to give the Jersey Hitmen a 5-4 victory over the New Jersey Renegades. The Hitmen erased a 4-3 deficit in the third period before winning in overtime.
Universel Sherbrooke 4, Ottawa Valley Centennials 2
Universel Sherbrooke scored in all three periods on the way to a 4-2 victory over Ottawa Valley. Sherbrooke carried a 3-2 advantage into the third period and added an insurance goal.
Dells Ducks 7, Minnesota Mullets 5
The Dells Ducks scored four times in the second period to defeat the Minnesota Mullets, 7-5. Dells entered the third with a 6-3 advantage and held off the Mullets’ late push.
Deux-Montagnes Ravens 4, New York Dynamo 0
Alessandro Calandriello scored twice as the Deux-Montagnes Ravens shut out the New York Dynamo, 4-0. The Ravens scored once in the first period, twice in the second and once in the third.
OLCN Scouts 7, Bassano Beavers 5
The OLCN Scouts scored five times in the third period to rally past the Bassano Beavers, 7-5. Taylor Gajewski scored twice for the Scouts.
Claresholm Cowboys 8, Three Hills Titans 3
Jake Gislason scored twice as Claresholm defeated Three Hills, 8-3. The Cowboys built a 3-0 lead in the first period before adding five more goals over the final two periods.
Bremerton Sockeyes 5, Iron County Yeti 3
Bremerton scored all five of its goals in the opening period and held on for a 5-3 victory over Iron County. Garrett Waterhouse scored twice for the Sockeyes.

Potomac Patriots 4, Carolina Junior Hurricanes 3 (OT)
Lucas Erlandsson scored his second goal of the game in overtime to lift Potomac past Carolina, 4-3. The Patriots led 3-0 before the Hurricanes rallied with three third-period goals.
Florida Eels 5, Florida Junior Blades 4 (OT)
Kyler Bergman scored in overtime to give the Florida Eels a 5-4 victory over the Florida Junior Blades. Noah Harvey scored twice for the Eels, who completed a third-period comeback before winning in overtime.
Charleston Colonials 4, Yorktown Admirals 3 (SO)
Charleston earned a 4-3 shootout victory after Yorktown tied the game during the third period. Travis Anderson, Beckham Sprull and Matej Sust scored in regulation for the Colonials.
Toledo Cherokee 5, Fort Wayne Spacemen 2
Kolten Omey scored twice as Toledo defeated Fort Wayne, 5-2. The Cherokee scored three times in the second period to build a 5-1 advantage.
Tampa Bay Juniors 12, Typhoon Hockey Club 2
Jason Abdullah and Johnathan Terho each scored twice as Tampa Bay defeated Typhoon, 12-2. The Juniors scored four times in the first period, three in the second and five in the third.
Long Beach Bombers 10, Rogue Valley Royals 1
Ronan Adomitis recorded a hat trick as Long Beach defeated Rogue Valley, 10-1. The Bombers scored five times in the third period and finished with 74 shots.
Bremerton Sockeyes 5, Iron County Yeti 3
Garrett Waterhouse recorded a hat trick to lead Bremerton past Iron County, 5-3. The Sockeyes built a 4-1 lead through two periods and held off the Yeti in the third.
St-Lazare Avalanche 8, Hudson Knights 7 (OT)
Nikita Spac completed a hat trick with the overtime winner as St-Lazare edged Hudson, 8-7. The Avalanche erased a 5-3 deficit with four goals in the third period before winning in overtime.
CJR 2, Mercer Chiefs 1
Brian Wilkinson and George Halmourdas scored for CJR in a 2-1 victory over Mercer. Maxime Vernier scored the Chiefs’ lone goal during the second period.
OLCN Scouts 6, Bassano Beavers 5
Taylor Gajewski scored twice as the OLCN Scouts held off the Bassano Beavers, 6-5. Bassano’s Austin Stewardson recorded a hat trick in the loss.
Claresholm Cowboys 4, Three Hills Titans 2
Four different players scored as Claresholm defeated Three Hills, 4-2. Tyler Sinclair, Dustyn Stoesz, Markus Hancock and Jake Gislason found the net for the Cowboys.
Rockets Hockey Club 13, New Jersey Renegades 0
Rockets Hockey Club produced one of Sunday’s most decisive results with a 13-0 shutout of the New Jersey Renegades.
Utica Jr. Comets 4, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 0
Utica received goals from Jack Carpenter, Jake Hill, Drew Mayne and Xavier Baaki in a 4-0 shutout of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The Comets scored three times in the second period.
Connecticut Junior Rangers 8, Jersey Hitmen 6
Dominic Powell scored four goals as Connecticut defeated the Jersey Hitmen, 8-6. The Junior Rangers scored five times in the third period to break a 3-3 tie.
Universel Sherbrooke 9, Kingston Wranglers 1
Guillaume Morneau scored twice as Universel Sherbrooke defeated Kingston, 9-1. Sherbrooke scored seven unanswered goals over the final two periods and finished with 58 shots.
Hanna Havoc 5, Chestermere Mustangs 3
Hanna Havoc closed the weekend with a 5-3 victory over the Chestermere Mustangs. Hanna carried a 5-2 advantage into the final period before Chestermere added the game’s final goal.
