2025-26 USPHL Premier Players of the Year | Season Performance Award Winners
The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) is proud to announce its 2025-26 Season Performance Award winners, honoring the top Forward, Defenseman, and Goaltender in the USPHL Premier. Jack Treacy of the Vernal Oilers (Forward), Antoine Bonin of the Fort Wayne Spacemen (Defenseman), and Felix Tolke of the Hampton Roads Whalers (Goaltender) were selected as this season’s top performers.
Each recipient will earn $5,000 through the USPHL Performance Payout Program, bringing the total awarded to $15,000.
The selections were determined by a panel of independent media members.
Forward of the Year – Jack Treacy (Vernal Oilers)
Jack Treacy was one the top forwards in the USPHL Premier this season, producing at the highest level in both the regular season and playoffs. With the Red River Spartans, he recorded 93 points (42 goals, 51 assists) in 38 games. After being traded to the Vernal Oilers, he added 24 points (9 goals, 15 assists) in five games, finishing with 117 total regular season points.
Treacy continued his production in the USPHL Premier Playoffs, posting 14 points (8 goals, 6 assists) in nine games, including two goals in the National Championship game, helping lead Vernal to the title.
Defenseman of the Year – Antoine Bonin (Fort Wayne Spacemen)
Antoine Bonin was the top defenseman in the USPHL Premier this season, leading all blueliners with 68 points (24 goals, 44 assists) in 42 games while anchoring the Fort Wayne Spacemen backend. His offensive production set him apart, consistently generating scoring chances and driving play from the blue line.
“Bonin was outstanding for us in his age out year,” said Fort Wayne Spacemen Head Coach, Kaleigh Schrock. “His offensive production elevated our team and played a major role in our success, but what stood out most was his commitment to rounding out his game, especially the strides he made defensively. His NCDC call up, combined with the consistent growth he showed each year at the Premier level, is a perfect example of how our league structure develops players, even at the highest end. We are incredibly proud of Antoine and excited to see him take the next step with Adrian’s ACHA Division I program next season,” Schrock added.
Bonin carried that production into the playoffs, recording two points in seven games as Fort Wayne advanced to the USPHL Premier National Championship game. His ability to contribute offensively while handling key minutes on the back end made him the clear choice as Defenseman of the Year.
Goaltender of the Year – Felix Tolke (Hampton Roads Whalers)
Felix Tolke was the top goaltender in the USPHL Premier this season, delivering consistent results and leading the league across key categories. He posted a 27-1-0 record in 28 games, along with a 1.21 goals-against average, a .956 save percentage, and 10 shutouts.
“Felix was MVP-caliber for the Hampton Roads Whalers from the moment we first saw him in net,” said Hampton Roads Whalers Head Coach Colten Teubert. “Every time he stepped in, our group played with confidence. He was a pleasure to coach, bringing a strong work ethic and a competitive edge every day. Felix shows instincts well beyond his years, and this recognition is well deserved. We’re incredibly proud of him and excited to see what’s next for Felix!”
Tolke carried his play into the postseason, recording a 1.70 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage in seven playoff games, finishing with a 5-1-1 record. His ability to control games and provide stability in net made him the clear choice as Goaltender of the Year.
