USPHL PREMIER – JERSEY HITMEN CLASSIC FINAL SCORES
CONNECTICUT JR. RANGERS 3, HAWKESBURY KNIGHTS 1
Down 1-0 early, the Connecticut Jr. Rangers scored three unanswered goals by Zach Rathbun, Aydan Miles and Nikolas Kubecka to take down the Knights 3-1.
WESTCHESTER WOLVES 3, MONTREAL BLACK VEES 1
The Westchester Wolves got back in the win column with a 3-1 win over the Black Vees. Ivan Nadtochiev, Dylan Eifert and Max McKay all lit the lamp for the Wolves.
RED BANK GENERALS 7, ST-LAZARE AVALANCHE 0
The Red Bank Generals served up another huge win scoring seven more goals giving them a three game total of 28 goals scored. Michael Reed notched a pair and Nolan Gentry added a goal and an assist.
HAWKESBURY KNIGHTS 2, WESTCHESTER WOLVES 1
The Knights rallied for two second period goals by Cooper Martineau and Nikita Spac to edge the Wolves 2-1. Anthony Gervais had 40 stops in net for the Knights.
KINGSTON WRANGLERS 4, NEW JERSEY RENEGADES 2
Steven Saber’s two goals helped give the Wranglers a 4-2 win over the Renegades. David Duggan and Ryan Maracle also found the scoresheet.
JERSEY HITMEN 4, OTTAWA VALLEY CENTENNIALS 1
Tyler Lessard, Tyler Starich, Henry Miller and Aiden Bourne all found the scoresheet in a solid 4-1 win over the Centennials.
CONNECTICUT JR. RANGERS 3, ST-LAZARE AVALANCHE 2 (SO)
The Connecuticut Jr. Rangers won their second game of the day this time via a shootout over the Avalanche. Jackson Hammond and Joseph Namyotov scored the goals during regulation.
WISCONSIN RAPIDS RIVERKINGS 2, MERCER CHIEFS 1
Noa Diamond’s second goal of the game gave the Riverkings a big 2-1 win over the Mercer Chiefs. Deaken Shaw had 20 saves in net.
P.A.L JR ISLANDERS 8, BEARCUT HOCKEY CLUB 0
A four-goal first period sealed the shutout win for the Jr. Islanders who had eight different goal scorers in a full team effort. Mick Marlow stopped all 27 shots he faced.
PREMIER SOUTHEAST SHOWCASE FINAL SCORES
HAMPTON ROADS WHALERS 4, FLORIDA JR. BLADES 2
The Whalers jumped to a 3-1 lead at the half and went on to the 4-2 win. Nikita Zozulia scored two goals and Zach Ruffenach and Jacob McCormack one apiece. Israel Buckdrop and Rylan Bisel each had a goal for the Jr. Blades.
POTOMAC PATRIOTS 4, CAROLINA JR. HURRICANES 2
Second-half goals from Braylen Cox, his second of the game, and Simon Eriksson were the difference as the Patriots doubled up the Jr. Hurricanes. Bruno Alic also had a goal, while Will Deis and Lucas Connery countered for Carolina.
CHARLOTTE RUSH 5, CORAL SPRINGS JR. CATS 4
Goals from Jacob Malzone, Marek Kijonka and John Attardo gave the Rush a 5-2 lead and they held on despite Jr. Cats’ goals from William Hedlund and Brendan Morea. Filip Papshev scored two first half goals for Charlotte. Sixten Fraanberg and Derek Hudson also lit the lamp for Coral Springs.
HAMPTON ROADS WHALERS 3, FLORIDA EELS 0
A 14-save shutout from Felix Tolke and second half goals by Matiss Zilitis, Dalton Greely and Nikita Zozulia were all the Whalers needed in blanking the Eels.
CHARLESTON COLONIALS 6, TAMPA BAY JRS. 5
In a wild one, the Colonials jumped to a quick 3-0 led, only to see Tampa score four straight to take a 4-3 halftime lead, But Tyler Merriman, Ryan Wead and Finn Kelly scored in the second half to give Charleston the win. Weed finished with a hat trick while Charlie Wingerter also had a goal. Samuel Moore had a pair of goals for Tampa Bay.
CAROLINA JR. HURRICANES 3, TYPHOON HOCKEY CLUB 0
After a scoreless first half, the Hurricanes forged ahead on the two-goal night of Bobby Nabozny and one from William Palmer. Matthew Ketcham earned the shutout between the pipes, making 20 saves.
NON-SHOWCASE FINAL SCORES
Islanders Hockey Club 6, Northern Cyclones 4
The Islanders Hockey Club came out on top in an overtime thriller against the Northern Cyclones. Adam Hadi led the way with two goals, including the OT winner, while Joey Spivak added a pair of tallies. Chase Darcey scored twice for the Cyclones, but it wasn’t enough as IHC struck twice in the extra frame to secure the victory.
Metro Jets 8, Fresh Coast Freeze 0
The Metro Jets dominated from start to finish, posting an 8-0 shutout over the Fresh Coast Freeze. Ryan Glomboske scored four goals to pace the offense, while Joel Paterson and Jake Taylor each found the net as well. The Jets fired 68 shots in the win and controlled play in all three zones.
Springfield Pics 2, Boston Jr. Rangers 0
Springfield’s Adam Wizmuller played the hero, scoring both goals in the third period to lift the Pics past the Boston Jr. Rangers. The teams battled through two scoreless frames before Wizmuller broke the deadlock late, sealing the shutout victory for Springfield.
Battle Creek Kernels 8, Chicago T-Rex 5
The Battle Creek Kernels poured on the offense early, striking six times in the opening period en route to an 8-5 win over Chicago. Ethan Miller recorded a hat trick to lead the way, while Bogdan Guntypov and Jake Mandeville also added first-period tallies. Chicago’s Jason Gongol scored twice to keep it close, but the Kernels’ attack proved too much.
Toledo Cherokee 5, Cincinnati Cyclones 3
Toledo rallied from an early deficit to earn a 5-3 victory over the Cyclones in Queen City. Eoin Ingersoll, Cameron Krause, and Trevor Johnson all scored to fuel the comeback, while Jacob Myers and Nathan Sparks added insurance in the third. Mark Powers and Dominic Nuanes found the net for Cincinnati in the loss.
Steele County Blades 7, Minnesota Outlaws 5
The Blades erupted for four goals in the second period to power past the Minnesota Outlaws, 7-5. Maxime Vernier and Jack Gardner each scored during the middle frame, while Davin Seibel and Zachary Stinski also chipped in goals. Keegan Young scored twice for the Outlaws, but the Blades’ offensive surge proved decisive.
Minnesota Squatch 7, Minnesota Mullets 1
The Squatch stayed hot with a commanding 7-1 victory over the Minnesota Mullets. Alessandro Matteo Fontana Ros opened the scoring, and the floodgates followed with goals from Zachary Nunn, Jackson Heusinkveld, Lukas Plank, Grant O’Connor (two), and Danylo Tsybulskyi. Camden Murphy netted the lone goal for the Mullets in the third period.
Minnesota Blue Ox 3, Hudson Havoc 2
The Minnesota Blue Ox edged out the Hudson Havoc in a tight 3-2 contest at Coon Rapids. Aaron Stemper, Lucas Kiel, and TJ Kelsey each scored for the Blue Ox, while Brennen Sanders and Malachi McCormack tallied for Hudson. The Ox outshot the Havoc 50-19 to secure the win.
Calgary Bandits 9, Hanna Havoc 4
The Calgary Bandits’ high-powered offense was on full display in a 9-4 win over Hanna. Max Reichel scored twice, and the Bandits spread the wealth with goals from Mason Seibel, Erik Freiheit, O’Shae Inkumash, Tristen Kerr, Coby Holloway, and Nathaniel Dennehy. Demetry Inglis recorded a hat trick for Hanna in the loss.
Seattle Totems 5, McCall Smokejumpers 1
Seattle continued their strong start with a 5-1 win against McCall. Daniel Radkevich scored twice, while Mason Rizik, Jeffery Fowler, and Braeden Derouen added goals for the Totems. Jack Gartzkze had the lone goal for McCall midway through the third period.
Red River Spartans 4, Columbus Mavericks 2
Jett Jock scored a third-period hat trick to propel the Red River Spartans past the Columbus Mavericks, 4-2. Bryson Walz also scored for Red River, while Thomas Eggleston and Brian McConahy provided the offense for Columbus. The Spartans closed out strong with three unanswered goals in the final frame.
Iron County Yeti 3, Long Beach Bombers 1
The Yeti controlled play throughout in a 3-1 win over the Bombers. Marek Trefil scored twice and Szymon Kluczniak added another, while Steven Anderson had the lone goal for Long Beach. Iron County capitalized twice on the power play in the victory.
Vernal Oilers 12, Rogue Valley Royals 0
The Vernal Oilers rolled to a dominant 12-0 victory over Rogue Valley, firing on all cylinders from start to finish. Logan Powers scored twice and Jack Tidsbury, Brody Wood, and Patrik Durak were among nine different goal scorers. Vernal outshot the Royals 52-12 in the rout.
Ventura Vikings 7, San Diego Sabers 2
The Ventura Vikings’ offense stayed hot in a 7-2 win over the Sabers. Chace Jarvis scored twice, while Calvin Ruggiero, Ryan Gill, Joe Lawrence, Kaleb Furman, and Dominick Ybarra also found the net. Payton Hauge and James Schneider scored for San Diego in the loss.
Ontario Jr. Reign 10, Lake Tahoe Lakers 1
The Ontario Jr. Reign cruised to a 10-1 victory over Lake Tahoe behind a four-goal performance from Mason Welsh. Marc Belanger added a pair of goals, while Walker Chitwood and Mason Geng also scored. Lewis Beddow tallied the lone goal for the Lakers.
