A Clear Development Pathway

These call-ups demonstrate how the USPHL’s multi-level structure creates opportunities for Premier players to advance to the NCDC based on their performance, readiness and an organization’s roster needs.

A call-up gives a player the opportunity to experience the pace, physicality and preparation required at the NCDC level. It also allows NCDC coaching staffs to evaluate players in game situations while those players gain experience at the next level.

For Premier players, these opportunities can serve as a step toward earning a permanent NCDC roster position and continuing along the path to college hockey.

Congratulations to every player who has earned an NCDC opportunity during the 2026–27 season.
