Islanders HC 4 vs. NY Dynamo 0
Scott Allan’s two goals helped propel the Islanders to a 4-0 shutout win over the NY Dynamo. Michael Ros and Nicholas Posthumus also scored for the Islanders. Jacob Fisch had 20 saves in net.
Red River Spartans 4 vs. Somang Hockey 3 (OT)
Jett Jock’s hat trick including the overtime winner helped the Spartans erase a two-goal deficit and win in thrilling fashion. Bryson Walz also scored for the Spartans while Tyler Canestrari, Bryan Wendijk and Lloyd Phillippe Lafortune countered for Somang.
Universel College Gatineau 3, Springfield Pics 2
Jacob Arsenault’s goal midway through the third period snapped a 2-2 tie and capped a comeback for Universel College Gatineau in a 3-2 win over the Pics. After a scoreless first period, Matas Blazys and Adam Wizmuller staked Springfield to a 2-0 lead before Tristan Roy and Tristan Prach drew UCG even. Lincoln Featherstone was solid in goal for the winners, making 33 saves.
Hershey Cubs 6, Thunder Hockey Club 0
Two goal performances from Kaelan Lauwerysen and Jeremy Deschambault-Perron powered a solid win for the Cubs. Nolan Godfrey earned the shutout between the pipes with 20 saves. MacGregor King and Landon Woolley also had goals in the win.
South Shore Kings 3, Universel Sherbrooke 2
The Kings spotted Universel Sherbrooke a 1-0 lead on a Mathieu Bourelle goal, but rallied for the win behind goals from Caleb McNulty, Logan Souza and Sean McLaughlin, and 20 saves from Jack Signarelli. Alexander Michaud also had a goal for Universel Sherbrooke.
