Premier Stars of the Week | Sept. 20-28, 2025

The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from September 20-28, 2025.Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.
Atlantic Division
Forward: Jeremy Deschambault-Perron – Hershey Cubs – Jeremy Deschambault-Perron was a goal-scoring machine this week with 7 goals, 1 assist, 8 points, carrying the Hershey attack. “Jeremy was red-hot at the Showcase this weekend,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brady Boudreau. “He scored in every single game he played and was our most electric offensive player this weekend. It seemed like every time he touched the puck, we would have a scoring chance.”
Defenseman: Evan Singer – Elmira Impact – Evan Singer posted 5 points in two games. The Pittsburgh, PA native contributed in every situation, posting 1 goal, 4 assists, 5 points.
Goaltender: Elijah Wiltshire, West Chester Wolves – Goaltender Elijah Wiltshire was fantastic between the pipes, stopping 55 of 56 shots for a .982 save percentage and 1.00 GAA. “Elijah was locked in from the start of the game, making key saves when needed and helped us secure our first win of the season,” said Head Coach Brian Leonard.
Florida Division
Forward: Alex Cochran, Florida Eels – Alex Cochran dominated offensively with 8 points over 3 games played. The Dallas, TX native added 7 goals and 1 assist for 8 points on the season.
Defenseman: Derrick Peterson – Florida Eels – Derrick Peterson led the blue line with 6 assists in 3 games, driving offense from the back end.
Goaltender: Jasper Brophy – Palm Beach Typhoon – Jasper Brophy put up a huge effort with 55 saves on 57 shots (.965 SV%), earning a key win for Palm Beach.
Great Lakes Division
Forward: Giovanni Valentine – Columbus Mavericks – Giovanni Valentine was a force up front for the Mavericks collecting 9 points. The Pennsylvania native posted 4 goals, 5 assists, 9 points. “Giovanni picked up right where he left off last season,” Head Coach and General Manager Joseph Recktenwald said. “He sees teams top defensive pairs every night and still makes an impact no matter what opponents do to try and slow him down.”
Defenseman: Ethan Zuvela – Columbus Mavericks – Ethan Zuvela was productive from both ends of the ice, as he totalled 8 points. The Ohio native added 3 goals, 5 assists, 8 points. “Ethan has shown no signs of being intimidated by older players,” Head Coach and General Manager Joseph Recktenwald said. “He’s a 2008 and carries himself with the poise of an ‘05 and is second on our team in points. The bigger the moment, the bigger he plays.”
Goaltender: Galvin Reagan – Battle Creek Kernels – Goaltender Galvin Reagan posted a 35 shot shutout win against Fresh Coast. “Galvin has established himself as a force in the Great Lakes Division and played a major role in securing our 2025 Home Opener win,” said Head Coach and General Manager Triston Jensen.
New England Division
Forward: Landon Werner – Northern Cyclones – Landon Werner was a steady contributor with 2 goals, 2 assists, 4 points.
Defenseman: Jackson Bulthaup – Northern Cyclones – Defenseman Jackson Bulthaup was rock-solid with 2 assists and a +5 rating, making a defensive difference.
Goaltender: Steve Louiselle – Northern Cyclones – Steve Louiselle was locked in with a win where he posted a 1.00 GAA and .917 save percentage.
North Division
Forward: Noa Diamond – Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings – Noa Diamond was explosive, scoring totalling 9 points. The Montreal, Quebec native scored 5 goals and added 4 assists over two games. “Noa dominated every zone in the rink and constantly gave us opportunities to jump on offense,” said Head Coach and General Manager Paul Pechmann.
Defenseman: Chase Donaghue – Minnesota Blue Ox – Chase Donaghue was impactful for the Blue Ox, tallying 3 points in one game. The St. Cloud, MN native added two goals and an assist. “Chase was solid defensively, and stepped up offensively to contribute in a big way,” said Head Coach and General Manager Nicholas Zawacki.
Goaltender: Henry Vick – Northwest Express – Goaltender Henry Vick was perfect between the pipes for the Northwest Express. The Beaver Damn, WI posted a 24-save shutout.
Northwest Division
Forward: Roman Wolynec – Seattle Totem – Wolynec had a massive playmaking night, dishing out eight assists in a single game against Rogue Valley. The Langley, BC native set up goals in every period, powering the Totems’ offense and finishing with an incredible 8-point outing. “Although he only played one game, Roman picked up right where he left off last year, assisting on 8 goals,” said Head Coach Mike Butters. “The 8 assists in a single game is a Totems record.”
Defenseman: Mason Rizik – Seattle Totems – Mason Rizik contributed offensively with 3 assists from the blue line. The Federal Way, WA native has played in 1 game so far this season.
Goaltender: Matej Hronski – Seattle Totems – Seattle netminder Matej Hronski had an outstanding performance with a .955 save percentage and a victory. In the 12-1 win over Rouge Valley, Hronsky turned away 23 shots.
Pacific Division
Forward: Mason Welsh, Ontario Jr. Reign – Mason Welsh tallied 3 points in one game. The Huntington Beach, CA native posted two goals, including the game winner, and dished out an assist.
Defenseman: Scott Whitecotton, Ontario Jr. Reign – Scott Whitecotton was steady on the blue line for the Jr. Reign. The Hazelton, BC, CAN native was a +2 on the night.
Goaltender: Nick Perry, Ontario Jr. Reign – Nick Perry had a strong performance in between the pipes. The Chino Hills, Ca native turned away 28 shots, and posted a .996 SV% in a 4-1 win.
Southeast Division
Forward: Hunter Kerzner, Charlotte Rush – Hunter Kerzner scored in back-to-back games totaling 6 points. Over two games, the Delray Beach, FL native scored 2 goals and 1 assist in each showing.
Defenseman: Ryan Bonfrancesco – Charlotte Rush – Ryan Bonfrancesco accumulated 5 points over three games. The Hellertown, PA native produced from the back end with 2 goals, 3 assists, 5 points.
Goaltender: Felix Tolke – Hampton Roads Whalers – Felix Tolke posted a 34-save shutout for his second of the season. The Noaka, Sweden native has played in 5 games this season, picking up 4 wins. “Felix has been a rock in net for our program so far at 5-0 with 2 SOs and a .956,” said Assistant Coach CJ Sweigart.
St. Lawrence Division
Forward: Elliot Fortin, Montréal Black Vees – Forward Elliot Fortin added two assists against Kingston. From Montreal, Fortin has played in 4 games this season and has totalled 9 points.
Defenseman: Raphael Bousquet, Montréal Black Vees – Raphael Bousquet led the offense from the back end with 2 assists. So far this season, Bousquet has recorded 6 points over 5 games.
Goaltender: Raphael Duperron, Montréal Black Vees – Goaltender Raphael Duperron posted a shutout victory. The Quebec native turned away all 20 shots he faced for a shutout win.
