The National Collegiate Development Conference’s Unfinished Business series spotlights returning veterans who are back for another season with bigger goals ahead. Whether they’re chasing a Dineen Cup championship, a college commitment or continued development, these players enter the 2026-27 season with experience, determination and, above all, unfinished business.
One of those players is Boston Jr. Rangers forward Nick Kondub, who returns for his second NCDC season after an impressive rookie campaign. Kondub established himself as one of the Rangers’ top offensive threats in 2025-26, recording 21 goals and 30 assists for 51 points in 54 regular-season games while finishing at nearly a point-per-game pace. He continued to produce in the postseason, scoring three goals in three playoff games as Boston made its playoff push.
Now entering his second season with the organization, the dynamic forward returns as one of the key pieces the Rangers will rely on in their pursuit of a Dineen Cup championship.
Head Coach and General Manager Rich DeCaprio expects Kondub to be among the league’s elite forwards this season while continuing to draw attention from NCAA programs.
“Nick is a very dynamic player that brings high-end speed and skill, as well as creativity to the game,” said DeCaprio. “He’s a competitor that always has his motor in high gear. I expect him to be one of the best forwards in the league. We are very excited to have him back to try and win a championship this season. He has several NCAA offers right now.”
After a breakout rookie campaign, Kondub returns to Boston with another year of experience and the opportunity to continue building on an already impressive start to his NCDC career.
