USPHL+ Experience Expands on Black Bear TV With New Auto-Highlights Feature

Premium subscribers will be able to save and share goal and save highlights that are created automatically

Black Bear TV (BBTV) is continuing to enhance the USPHL+ viewing experience with the launch of Auto-Highlights for the 2026-27 season.

Available exclusively to USPHL+ Premium monthly and annual subscribers, Auto-Highlights will automatically generate video clips of goals and saves from NCDC and USPHL Premier regular-season, showcase and playoff games.

Premium subscribers will be able to save selected highlights to their personal Black Bear TV library and post clips directly to their social media accounts, making it easier to share game moments with family, friends, fans, teammates and scouts.

All highlights will be generated from live game information entered into Time to Score. When a goal or save is recorded through live scoring, the system will use that information to identify and clip the corresponding moment from the USPHL+ broadcast on Black Bear TV.

“Players and families want to relive, save and share the moments that make each game memorable,” said USPHL Commissioner Tony Zasowski. “Auto-Highlights will make it easier to find goals and saves, build a personal collection of highlights and post those moments directly to social media. It is another meaningful addition to the USPHL+ Premium experience on Black Bear TV.”

Because Auto-Highlights are created from live scoring, the accuracy of each clip—including the player credited—will depend on the information entered during the game. Corrections made to the official scoresheet after a highlight has been generated may not automatically update or recreate the original clip.

Auto-Highlights will also help USPHL organizations reduce the time required to search through full-game broadcasts and manually locate clips. Teams will have faster access to game moments they can use to promote players, recognize performances and create content for their websites and social media platforms.

The feature will begin operating when the 2026-27 NCDC and USPHL Premier seasons get underway. During the opening week of games, the USPHL and Black Bear TV will monitor the system to confirm that highlights are being generated accurately before beginning the full promotional rollout.

The addition of Auto-Highlights is part of the continued evolution of USPHL+ on Black Bear TV, providing more value to Premium subscribers while giving USPHL organizations another tool to showcase their players and teams.
